"Great food, atmosphere and the service was excellent. Recommended. If I could do anything again, I would probably skip the starter menu as they werent worth the price (cost vs value). The rest was excellent tho."

"I made a booking here over the weekend for a large group of what ended up being 12 people. Ahead of time, I asked to be served the set menu advertised on their website for all guests. No concerns were raised. Orders for drinks were taken, and the cocktails were indeed delicious. However, they were far too slow and some individuals were waiting 30 minutes for their drinks. More bar staff should’ve been rostered on knowing there was going to be a large group. Then, the food started coming out, and it was not the advertised set menu. The male wait staff member who was apologetic and accomodating was also perplexed how this could have occurred. The manager woman didn’t seem to be bothered at all, however. We were served cold fries, terrible guacamole and a couple of dry tacos each. No one left happy. One upside is the excellent decor. Will not be back."

"Gorgeous bar and restaurant, really nice atmosphere and service. Interesting, authentic Mexican menu, many dishes that you won't find in your average south of the border restaurant. Let's be clear,this is quality, carefully considered Mexican street food.... definitely worth a go. There is a large range of tequilas to try, plus a decent wine and beer list"

"Went for dinner with a friend on a Wednesday night. We had the Paloma cocktail and Quesadilla special! What a great deal. The drink was delicious, the quesadillas were yummy and filling. We also got taco fries which honestly were a little too fried; I personally like fries that are crunchy but still have that nice potato-y inside (excuse my lack of better word choice). The food highlight was definitely the frozen margarita pie! What a great dessert! The biscuit was a bit hard, but that's because the pie is frozen. It's so good! I recommend it. It has just the right balance of creamy and tart. The atmosphere is cool too and was quite chill on a week day. I'm definitely coming back for more specials and I'm going to take more photos for future posts!"

"The bar will offer different types of mezcal, a cousin to tequila made from a wider range of agave plants. Casa N.O.M will also offer half and full nips of other Latin American spirits, such as cachaca, pisco, rums and aguardientes, an anise-flavoured Colombian spirit. Drinks are the focus, but Casa N.O.M also functions as a 35-seat restaurant with a dinner menu dominated by gluten-free and vegan options. Pequeno (or small) plates include blue corn-loaded chilaquiles (tortillas simmered in salsa) topped with vegan cheese, or croquettes made from mashed Yucatan plantains. Larger options include Colombian arepas (hot pockets made with white cornmeal) stuffed with chilli beef, and taco-seasoned fries. There is also craft beer, wine and cocktails."
