"This is in response to the reply from the owner below: I'm glad to hear you value your customers experience, this experience has been disappointing for a couple of reasons: 1. Your shop staff has not acted as promised to follow up and replace our shoes within two weeks. We had to call within two weeks to be told there are no replacements and there won't be for at least an additional two weeks while the sales are on. So we only get our shoes if you can't sell them? We were then offered a dirty display pair which is unacceptable as a gift. This process is very unprofessional. 2. When we came to the shop to get a refund, and to ask for a message to be passed on to management, Vincent was only concerned with deflecting blame to head office and to her colleague. At no point did we accuse your staff personally, but explained that our frustration was to be passed on up the chain of command. Instead Vincent responded with a violent behaviour by slamming a door in front of my children. If you treat every customer (such as a mother with 3 children in the shop) with a concern as intimidating, be professional as a business then no customer will have any concerns. We have been enjoying Ecco shoes for many years, but this has been a show-stopper for us. Original Post: Having many problems in exchanging different size of shoes with the lack of information and care, we asked for a refund to Vincent (the staff). She was noticeably very angry, she stated that she was not to blame but the other staff who sold the shoes (Jelena) as well as the head office instead. She blamed us for declining her offer to exchange the shoes with a display pair (they were dirty and we did explain that we could not give a pair of dirty shoes as Christmas present). She was continuously expressing her anger whilst processing the refund, and as we walked out of the store she slammed the door at the back of the shop. My whole family use Ecco shoes, but never again after this experience."

The staff are also always very friendly and accommodating, I have been assisted by Jelena multiple times and she has always been very helpful and it is always a pleasure to be served by her."

"I'm not in the habit of writing reviews for retail stores, more of a travel/dining reviewer but after my recent visit to Ecco Warringah Mall I felt the need to do so. It's rare these days that you enter a retail outlet where the young staff provide great service without being robotic or contrived. I already have some Ecco shoes that I've bought elsewhere and wasn't necessarily planning on buying any more that day but they found just what I was after and I'm really happy with them."

"I have never done this before, maybe due to being so used to the service level that we all receive nowadays I've had no reason. Though when you receive something extraordinary it comes as a surprise and it's enjoyable. I recently visited Ecco Shoes in Warringah Mall looking for a pair of quality Golf shoes, I was warmly greeted buy all the staff, sat down and shown their range, while the fitting took place I was informed on the Ecco business, it's history and design features which I enjoyed, it wasn't someone reading from a script it was delivered with passion by people who really enjoy their product and selling. I did buy the golf shoes along with some care products. I highly recommend this business and would like to thank Brenda and her team for such an enjoyable experience."
