"If your daughter has talent, take her somewhere she’ll be nurtured, this is not that place. They took my gymnastics obsessed daughter from begging me for squads to asking me to pull her out, and that was after getting a medal in the state comp (also she was placed in a lower level) She was constantly demotivated as they would keep on moving new girls to squads (in my daughters words ‘who can’t even do cartwheels’ and then keep on repeating the same lessons over and over as new girls keep getting in and whenever she would ask the coach to learn a new skill, they would keep on saying ‘later’. I can only assume money was the factor here, unless it’s simple mismanagement of classes). When she went to a regular tumbling class, she said she learned more in a month than she learnt in an entire year at SXL!"

"Wow. What a disappointment. We went in for a trial which I had rang and organised we were never told about a payment kids are 3. When we got there we were not welcomed or asked why we were here and when 11am hit (class start time) no one was on the floor ready to begin so we walked to reception and the girl RUDELY to my friend and I said “ first thing is you need to pay” didn’t ask what we were there for ages nothing. I said “we were not told this” She said nothing. We said “okay we might leave as the cost of the trial is the same as the actual cost of the class” she said Okay We left. They didn’t care at all. What a shame customer service was awful and the care factor was zero. I’ve heard about SXL and their lack of care/customer service but today experienced it. My friend and I were prepared to sign up to the term they lost out. These reviews are clearly friends be weary."

"Very professional and lovely staff and great facilities! My 6 year old daughter improved immensely since she started practicing gymnastics at SXL a year and a half ago. I can understand it's not every child's favourite as in order to learn certain movements properly there must be lot of repetitions and form corrections. But, that's the only way to learn those skills safely and that's what I, as a parent, especially like about this club. And, of course, child must be determined and eager to learn to improve. My daughter started in the pink class, moved to maroon and she is in the squad now. And she loves every bit of it. Even tho we have closer gymnastics clubs to where we live now, we won't change them for sure!"
