"I had a wonderful experience at the hospital, thanks to Addy, the male receptionist. He greeted me warmly and went out of his way to provide helpful information. Addy's professionalism and caring nature made me feel at ease. His excellent customer service truly stands out and reflects well on the hospital. Thank you, Addy, for making my visit a positive one!"
"5 stars for the amazing nursing care at this hospital. From all the theatre nurses - admissions, anaesthetics, theatre staff, recovery and to the kind and compassionate ward nurses, even the doctor who popped in overnight to check in on me. It was so nice to have caring and compassionate team of people looking after me. Your team is an asset and makes it a very comforting place to be. Thankyou for taking care of me!"
"East Sydney Private Hospital is exactly what a great hospital should be. From the moment I was greeted at admission until the time of discharge, I felt welcome, cared for and in safe hands. The facilities are modern, super clean and spacious, the mood calm and the staff were always ready with a warm smile. I like that they utilise a smart phone app and text messages to complete admission procedures, but the app needs a little fine tuning, specifically with regard to selecting the admitting doctor which I struggled with. Please consider presenting names in alphabetical order rather than in the random format currently provided. One other small suggestion - a few extra pillows would be awesome. All in all, the hospital gets a 'simply perfect' from me."
"My father-in-law had an operation on 07/12/22 and the process was smooth. Overall, the hospital was good. However, as an uninsured patient, he was required to pay surcharge of $63.18 based on $4750 hospital fee without any pre warning. One day before the date, we received the message (picture 1) where it only mentioned the hospital was cashless, but not mentioned surcharge for the credit cards at all. I have had a couple operations in the other two private hospitals as an insured patient, there was no surcharge in those private hospitals. Because of it, we only took a credit card upon arrival. All of our debit cards were at home so we couldn't add the debit cards for my apple pay. In this case, except for paying the surcharge, we seemed to have no other choices. My father-in-law is a pensioner and has no much savings. Having the operation in the private hospital and paying all kinds of the fees have made him very stressed. Afterwards, I checked the documents and found an informed Financial Consent where it stated the information about the direct payment but the same, it didn't mention surcharge for credit cards. Possibly, it was too late for us to choose this payment method on the day. But I still think it will be better to let the patient, especially uninsured patient, know their rights to choose the payment methods of avoiding paying the surcharge."
"Amazing customer service in & out. Especially Adam, a person just made for the job. So caring and helpful feel like he is your brother or a friend. I went there with my dad for his eye surgery this morning. Adam was the one who initially looked after my dad then some stage he had hand over to other nurses but still when he walking pass asking how is my dad doing or do I need any help. Thank you Adam, Helen & Kaya. You guys are asset for the business."
