"Shocking Experience at Puddle Ducks Dural - Putting Profits Over Children My encounter with Puddle Ducks Dural has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This swimming training place for kids claims to prioritize children's development, but it's evident that their main focus is on squeezing every penny out of unsuspecting parents. Let's begin with their utterly unfair pricing strategy. They lure you in with a $33 charge for 1:1 beginner lessons, only to switch to $29 for the next 2 levels, where they cram two kids together. The next level up crams 3 kids. How is that even remotely fair? Clearly, they are more interested in their profit margins than providing quality instruction. Adding insult to injury, Puddle Ducks Dural shows no empathy for sick kids by providing no makeup lessons. Despite your child missing a class due to illness, they couldn't care less about rescheduling or providing a makeup lesson. It's as if they don't realize that kids get sick and that life happens beyond their rigid policies. Moreover, their assessors seem to have a knack for conveniently disappearing, leading to delayed assessments and, in turn, stalling progress through multiple levels. This obvious tactic to keep kids stuck in a level for longer is a clear money-making scheme, and it's simply infuriating. Their administrative blunders are beyond belief. Despite discussing moving my child to the next level, they completely forgot to update it in their system. When I raised the issue, they displayed a complete lack of professionalism and offered no alternative until I had to relentlessly push for a solution. The worst part is their paper-based T&C, which they expect parents to sign, stating they are not responsible if a child gets hurt on their premises. It's shocking that they can get away with such a ludicrous policy. Although we obviously didn't sign it, they make it a requirement to use their mobile app for essential class suspension requests and other matters, and the mobile app won't work without accepting their one-sided unfair T&Cs. They recently raised their fees by $1 and attributed it to the minimum wage increase. When I asked for confirmation that this extra dollar was going to their hardworking trainers, I was met with absolute silence. Their lack of transparency speaks volumes about their true intentions. In conclusion, Puddle Ducks Dural is nothing but a money-oriented business that cares little for the well-being of the children they teach. Their unfair pricing, lack of compassion, and unprofessional practices make them an establishment that I would strongly advise against. Don't let their seemingly friendly facade fool you; they are solely interested in profiting from your hard-earned money."
"Absolutely don't risk it here with kids and with covid around, my son has fallen I'll with COVID and they still want still want to charge for his lesson that he can't attend legally. Make me think that they are not covod safe and want you to bring your child so you don't loose your money. They should give a credit when we have made a right safe decision to keep the rest of the community safe."
"just submitted the cancellation form. really liked the center at the beginging, but the management just went worse and worse. keep changing instrctuor every week, teaching is not very consistent, instructors are not familar with the students, make-up class was ridiculous, never get a make-up made up; also, reminder for future parents: check your bills and carefully go through it is correct; quite a few friends already left, and now it is us. if the center does not care for parents and existing students, then they must spend more money in marketing, add the price up for families again..... two stars for the good but gone memories....."
"The 1-1 classes are great for little kids when they have their head start in swimming. But getting the GOOD teacher is critical. My kid had couple of different teachers (there are quite a lot in teacher movements) hence stuck at one level for so long. Another drawback in their policy is no makeup classes, means I still have to pay for the class when my kid is absent for medical reasons."
"Very poor experience! We enrolled my daughter for private classes! Change of instructors very frequently, inconsistency poorly organised sessions impacted my child’s progress. Within a year we have seen a handful of instructors. The positives are that the swimming pool is not packed even on weekends which now I understand why and it’s cheap! But no value for money!!! We decided to leave!"
