"Blackgrape do you know how to answer your phone!? I have been trying to get in contact with Blackgrape for 2 years to have my tax return done and haven’t gotten a call back. I have had to go elsewhere and also found out that the 2020 tax lodgement done by Blackgrape WASNT SUBMITTED! So I paid for a service that wasn’t provided. Do not waste your time with this company."

"I have been going here for, I would say, close to or over 10 years. This year I have had the worst experience. I had tried booking an appointment for weeks, left messages, emails, you name it, but its a busy time of year. Eventually able to speak to someone and was informed the next appt available with Onur was over a month away, but sucked it up because I had been going there for so long. So 3 weeks ago I had my appointment, the one that took weeks to get through to book and had to wait over a month for. The appointment time comes and goes, I call, lmtc, emailed, someone calls back and advises he will call soon. He does, but so late I have to jump on another meeting shortly after. I ask if I can email everything through and do so. This is for a personal return, couple investment props. He agrees, promises to call me back to complete and never does. I leave some messages, a week later I get to speak with someone, tell him the sitch, how urgently I need the funds, promises Onur will call back. Never does. I do, however, getting an email response re: receipt and concern. I provided receipt and wanted further detail on concern and how I can move along. No response. I have left another voicemail. No response. Its now 3 weeks since that appointment, has all my person docs/info/receipts/etc and still no return lodged. If this is the service provided to a client of 10+ years, i'd probably avoid them. I work for Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, never have I witnessed this level of unprofessionalism from an accountant. I will continue to find out what is going on (only because he has everything but will book an appointment elsewhere in the meantime, as most like he won't get back to me. Will definitely go elsewhere in the future, suggest you do too, and see what next step I can take. So disappointing."

"I have been with Blackgrape for 5 years now and have never experienced anything less that a positive service. Being a small business i rely heavily on my accountant regarding anything finance. Onur spends a lot of time educating me on best practices and keeps me up to date with any market changes. He has already contacted me in regards to the government incentives surrounding COVID and explained how my business can be supported by the stimulus package. Highly recommend!!"

"Came to these guys late last year based on their Google rating for a simple tax return. I got Onur to manage my application who took a month to draft my application and never got to complete my return. In spite of emailing him directly twice and calling the office more than 3 times, I heard nothing from him. Went in last week to get my money refunded. Ruby, who works in the front desk, handled my request but Onur didn’t bother to come down from his room to apologise or inquire why I was asking for my money back. Overall the process took almost 4 months and my tax return was not completed. After discussing my experience with work colleagues, I was informed they also had been inconvenienced by Onur in the past. I don’t know how the other 2 accountants at this firm are but since Onur is the director, I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anyone. Onur was very unprofessional and rude in the way he handled my case."
