Welcome to the Randwick Literary Institute (RLI), a beloved community center located at 60 Clovelly Road in Randwick, Australia. With its rich history dating back to 1913, when the foundation stone was laid, the RLI has become a cherished establishment in the local community.

The building itself was completed in 1925 and has since served as a hub for various activities and events. Boasting four halls available for hire, including two with carpeted floors and two with beautiful wooden flooring, the RLI offers a versatile space for a wide range of purposes.

While the RLI is a popular venue for organizations providing classes and workshops, such as dance, art and craft, yoga, and fitness, it also serves as a home to the local playgroup. The playgroup enjoys the secure garden area, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to play and learn.

Please note that the RLI does not accept bookings for children's parties or other similar events. Additionally, we regret to inform you that our disability access is currently limited to the garden area only, as the toilets are not wheelchair accessible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Randwick Literary Institute is well-suited for a variety of activities, including meetings, dance classes, art activities, and small low-key performances like puppet shows, play readings, and choral concerts.
