About the Business
Welcome to Dulwich Hill Public School, a vibrant and engaging institution located in the beautiful suburb of Dulwich Hill, Australia. As a primary school, we strive to provide a nurturing and educational environment for our students, fostering their growth and development.
At Dulwich Hill Public School, we believe in the importance of parent and caregiver involvement in our students' education. That's why we offer various activities and events that allow families to actively participate in their child's learning journey. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for an enjoyable and educational activity to enjoy with your kids, we have something for everyone.
One of the highlights of our school calendar is Education Week, an annual celebration that recognizes the achievements of our dedicated teachers, talented students, and the overall excellence of NSW public education. It's a time where we come together as a school community to showcase the incredible work happening within our walls.
We also value the input and feedback of our parents and carers. The Department of Education regularly shares draft plans for NSW public education, inviting valuable insights from our community members. Your voice matters, and we encourage you to join us in shaping the future of our school.
Musical talent is nurtured and celebrated at Dulwich Hill Public School. Our music program features a range of ensembles, including Stage 2, Concert & Training Bands, String Groups, Senior & Beginner Recorders, Stage 1, 2 & 3 Choirs, and selected Soloists. We invite you to attend our performances and support our talented students.
In addition to our academic programs, we are proud to have a canteen managed by the School P&C. Our full-time Canteen Manager, supported by parent volunteers, ensures that our students have access to healthy and delicious meals throughout the day. We also have a Uniform Shop run by the Parents and Citizens Association, offering convenient shopping hours for parents to purchase school uniforms.
As an institution that values inclusivity and cultural diversity, we acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We also honor and respect Elders, both past and present, for their valuable contributions to our community.

"Great school Nice community Friendly staff"
"The school's priorities are way out of line. A vast disappointment that a school in modern Australia can get away with acting in the manner that this school does with regard to it feeling free to stigmatise children from certain backgrounds. An utter disgrace."
"As a former student of this hell-hole i would not recommend. Fun fact back in 2020 for my year 6 musical, "Dully goes around the world", we had white kids play Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Psy etc. The racism and cultural appropriation was really bad and many people were offended by the musical. The worst part of this is the fact that the teachers wrote the musical and encouraged this appropriation. (BTW in the musical I played a Mexican tour guide and had to speak spanish)"
"All together I've had 6 kids got through Dully Public round about 1998, & My youngest in yr 4 this yr, I'm really Happy how my Kids have Learnt So much from Great Teachers there, Especially Being Aboriginal, the School has been Great with our Indigenous Program, with the Parents helping by having Meeting with The Principal , so THANK YOU DULLY PUBLIC for Being a Great School."
"My kid started kindy here this year, he loves it. Also, I'm enjoying the school community, all the parents I've met are so friendly... and we are enjoying all the community events which are held regularly. There are also quite a few before & after school activities. My child is enjoying both STEAM & Gecko sports, and there are also language & music classes."
