Reviews
"The pharmacist on site gave me someone else's prescription, presumably by accident. I have later learned it was a student pharmacist / trainee, and accidents happen. After speaking to the pharmacist on duty today, I'm altering my review and we've amicably sorted it out. The issue from Feb & July will be lodged with the PBA and TGA instead. Thanks."
"Well stocked shelves, worn out tired staff. I feel for them."
"Rude, unfriendly and uneducated staff. I went in this morning to purchase tablets over the counter for something very common which I have done many times and any doctor will recommend. The young pharmacist argued with me that this tablet is not for this use which it is - read the packet, speak to a doctor or google. Unbelievable. Went up the road spoke to another pharmacist who couldn’t believe what I was told at Chemist Warehouse. Will never return."
"Rude and unfriendly staff. Shop set up a click & collect counter, and it was unattended. I was there in front of all other shoppers at the other end, but no one assisted me even i trying to jump and wave and speak out. Finally there is a staff coming and he blames me I should line up with every other shoppers. What is the point for set up a counter for "click and collect only" if you ask people to go to normal paying register? Also the staff attitude is really unprofessional."
"Do not visit this pharmacy as they mislead customers on displayed prices and in turn accuse customer of modifying evidence. I was trying to buy a rice rusk for my kid and of the different flavours on display, the “sweet potato & carrot” flavour has the price label of $2.89. This is $0.40 cheaper than other flavours that are priced at $3.29, so, I decided to buy this and took a photo (see attached) so that they could charge me the correct price i.e. as advertised on the pink label and not confuse the price with other flavours. At the counter, the item was scanned and priced at $3.29 on their system. This is inconsistent with the pink price label on their shelves. When I presented the photo I took a few minutes ago, the cashier accused me of taking this photo from another store and modifying this to get a $0.40 discount. I disagree and she said that she will check the shelves. When she came back the first time around, she continued to accuse me of modifying the photo and that the correct price is $3.29. Since this is a matter of principle, I continue to stand my ground and ask them to provide me a receipt so that I could make a complaint to consumer affairs over this false advertising of the pink label. The cashier then went off for the second time to talk to the manager. This time, she came back and admit that there is a pink label of $2.89 incorrectly on the shelf. But, as she wanted to have the last word, she then accused me of being rude to her. I proceeded to purchase the item at $2.89 and collected the receipt. There have been other unpleasant encounters in this store, witnessed by me and other customers, but this incident has taken the top prize for the worst encounter. Other staffs in other chemist warehouse pharmacies have better attitude and customer service, therefore, I would encourage everyone to shop in other stores. If you do shop in this store for items which prices may vary like the rapid antigen tests, it would be better to take a photo of the displayed price in case there is a price dispute."
