The name "Taekidokai" is derived from Japanese and signifies the "Way of the body and spirit."

At Taekidokai, we pride ourselves on being a professionally run Martial Art school. Our founder and 7th dan black belt, Sensei Rodney Day, has over 45 years of Martial Arts experience and a diverse background in Budokan Karate, Goshinryu, Hapshinrya, Taekwondo, and Aikido. Sensei Day travels throughout Australia and New Zealand, sharing his unique understanding of Taekidokai with both instructors and students.

We invite all students to join us at the Flinders dojo for our "SWARM" training sessions. It's a great opportunity to train with fellow martial artists and improve your skills. Additionally, we encourage you to bring your friends along for a free night of training to experience the benefits of Taekidokai firsthand.

For those interested in attending advanced training sessions, we also hold classes at 43 Durgadin Drive, Albion Park Rail. These sessions are specifically designed for senior red and black belts and take place at 7:00 pm on selected dates throughout the year.

We are excited to announce that Taekidokai now accepts the new Active Kids voucher, provided by the NSW Government. This program aims to encourage children to lead an active lifestyle by offering financial assistance for sports and fitness activities. Starting from 1 July, families can utilize this voucher to support their child's martial arts journey at Taekidokai.
