"I have been at this school for five years and my overall experience was absolutely awesome, though I can't say the same for my brother... If my brother wasn't bullied by his classroom teacher, I would rate this school 5 stars. Instead, after my brother being bullied for two terms worth of time, I would say our averaged experience is 3 stars. Bad things didn't stop there though. The school was terrible at managing the issue, so the averaged experience drops to 2 stars. Still, that's not all. The Parents' Community banned my parents from chatting and asking for help on social media. That causes the averaged experience to drop to 1 star. My only hope is that if you're a new student, you'd have a good teacher (like mine) and not a bad one (like my brother's teacher) and your parents would never encounter the issues and problems with the school management my parents did. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 16/08/2023 An Update: Ok ok ok. So my review kinda blew up and a lot of people (more than 11k) read it. Unfortunately this morning it was hidden so that only I can read it (other people can't). I wrote my review because it was what happened, and in hopes that the school could improve. Hopefully other people can see this message now."
"What does the "Wellbeing" mean for students ? The school decided to leave students to their parents for "student's wellbeing "! And, parents have to look after teachers' "wellbeing " by not bothering them too much. (Commented on 2021) It's funny the School keeps to remove negative reviews rather than improve their services. My above review was originally posted on 2021 but had been removed from publicly view for four times. The School looks spent a lot energy trying to seal people's mouth. Can't you do anything better to recover your reputation?"
"This school's Principal preaches again and again to parents that the school education model is School-Parents Partnership. When parents interpreter the "Partnership" as the school would respect parents and consider parents' concern, the Principal actually means the school won't take responsibilities to your kids' education or wellbeing. He said," We are just helpers. You parents are the main educators of your kids." Fair enough. So you have to be off your own works and be stand-by Monday to Friday for waiting for the school's phone calls. You have to look after to your kids' wellbeing in the school time. Study, Exams and Assessments? Well, of course these are parents' full responsibilities. And you paid for such "Partnership "."
"A parent comments on Bil Ghali's Review: As a “Director of Advancement” at Pacific Hills Christian School, you do not try to comfort desperate families who encountered difficulty; you do not help to solve the arguments between parents and the School. Rather, you prohibit parents speaking out in Parents Fellowship Group; and you censor parents’ posts. Now you come to Google Review to rate yourself five stars. Don’t you feel shame about it? The Google Review is for customers (parents and students) to rate . As a part time staff of the School, you have been involved in conflict interest. Your rating is cheating. As staff’s children, your kids of course had enjoyed a lot of privileges, while other kids had to be under disadvantage situation in the same class. This has been the tradition of Pacific Hills Christian School, unfortunately."
"In the recent 12 months, I have heard at least three sad stories from my friends about their daughters, who became depression in the Middle School of PHCS. One of them was hurt so deeply that she even can't attend any school now due to the PTSD. This School obviously is less fair to those teenagers who are vulnerable, while there are significant amount of students related to school staff receiving more attention and favorites."
