"Great school. We get weekly updates on what is happening. Daughter loves this school and talks about her teacher a lot. All the staff there seem very kind and are friendly."
"I have always enjoyed being part of this wonderful school community."
"I have been a member of St Madeleine's school community for the past 12 years and couldn't be happier with the school. My children have been blessed with dedicated, caring and approachable teachers, some having the same teacher in different grades which they have loved. The school has undergone recent renovations and created new, dynamic classrooms that allow for a range of different styles of learning. St Madeleine's is a wonderful community to be a part of where my children and I have felt welcome right from the very first day."
"I have never been so appalled with a school and there are many reasons, such as: The education is dismal! There are open classrooms There is little to no communication with parents. A parent is only valued if you are a constant volunteer, working parents are second rate. Favouritism is prevalent among teachers, staff, and students. Bullying and violence are the school’s culture. When the children inform the teachers of any violence or bullying, the teacher’s reply is "Go away!" A blind eye to all situations. Then they send your child home with bruises all over them. The current principal Mrs Jeanette Black speaks to you in a derogatory patronising manner. If you take an issue to the school such as bullying and violence or inappropriate sexual language among the children Mrs Jeanette Black quick response is " I suggest you leave the school!" In 2017 we lost over ten long-serving teachers it was a mass exodus. This is quite common in organisations and is usually due to poor management and an unsupportive environment. Not only did we say goodbye to outstanding teachers, we also said goodbye to loving and honourable families who could no longer leave their children in the school. There is a lack of duty of care and this was evident at the schools Gala day. The 1 teacher that they assign to the Gala day walked off the job and instructed a parent to look after the child. One of the children unsupervised by the teacher was my own and I was not informed of this until later. Upon contacting the Catholic Education Office to send a complaint about the duty of care at the Gala day the response was "We had no idea she left the grounds". They also do nothing about the situation. This is only the tip of the iceberg! The Catholic Education office is impervious as they have allowed the school to function at this level with Mrs Jeanette Black as the principle."
"Awesome primary school :)"
