"Good prices on vegetables and other foods. Very poor customer service. The two ladies running the checkout ignored us waiting, then when the one lady finally came over, she went to the other register and expected us to move. Then she focused on a paper in her hand and didn't even speak to us (with the exception of asking for the total). She didn't offer a bag, or even look at us during the whole transaction."
"Really only good for Asian grocery. The fresh food is trash. There’s an open fridge at the rear of the store, I’ve been in around closing time and the fridge is turned off... that’s not so good.. I totally get what everyone says about the grumpy lady not wearing a mask, she really hates it lol. Like come on you can wear it for the 10 seconds you serve someone because you literally have no service skills whatsoever that your total transaction would take 10 seconds..."
"Absolutely horrible horrible customer service by the checkout lady today. Paid for veggies by card and she insisted I pay by cash. Or I will be charged $2 extra, I said that’s fine as long as she put up clear signage about the fee prior purchase at the counter. This was not visible at all. The lady threw the receipt at my face and walked off. Seriously guys put up visible signage with your cc fees and re train staff on customer service skills with kindness and empathy - basic human values."
"Went in to buy Okra for the first time. Checkout girl was sort of helpful until l asked her to put her mask on (was hanging off one ear). She asked me to throw the bag to her and refused to put on her mask properly. I said no because l will still have to walk over there to swipe my card. Then she said do you want me to serve you or not? That would be NOT. I put the Okra back and walked out. Seriously? Couldn't put her mask on for 20 seconds? I'm a Registered Nurse. I've worn a mask and full PPE (mask, gown and gloves) for full 12 hour shifts. Whether you agree with it or not it's the law. Good fruit and veg or not l don't know and l never will."
"Fruit in very poor condition. Bought a large container of strawberries there yesterday, had to throw most of them away today. Just a few top and bottom in good condition, the rest were mouldy. Cherries were bruised and marked. Won't be buying there every again."
