The teachers are great and take a very individual approach to each child, encouraging my son in all areas from drawing and writing to social skills, sharing and learning about the world. He has a great bond with the teachers and I really feel they are invested in every child they have in their care. The centre is a very natural place that encourages learning through play. "KU Sunbeam has been a wonderful place for my children’s preschool years. The centre is small enough for the children to develop close friendships. The educators enable and facilitate the children’s interests and questions to lead their programs. I am so happy and impressed at how the educators engage the preschoolers with projects that last weeks. The attention to handwriting skills and letter recognition is perfect for kindergarten prep. For my busy boys having the structured play helped them to learn that there is a time for free play and a time for concentrating on a task. This made transition to kindy much easier for them."
