About the Business
Welcome to Thomas Acres Public School, a renowned institution located in the beautiful area of Ambarvale, Crispsparkle Drive, Australia. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to providing our students with a high-quality education and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
At Thomas Acres Public School, we prioritize the values of respect, responsibility, cooperation, pride, and honesty. These core values form the foundation of our curriculum, which is centered on literacy, numeracy, and student empowerment programs. We believe in offering programs that engage students intellectually and encourage their active participation in their own education.
Our school is proud to embrace the rich cultural diversity of Australia. We celebrate multiculturalism and promote intercultural understanding, peace, and harmony every day. We encourage our students to share their languages, customs, and beliefs, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
Parents and caregivers are an integral part of our school community, and we welcome their involvement. By joining our parent association, you can contribute positively to our students' lives and have a say in school activities, curriculum development, and resource planning. It's an excellent opportunity to get to know other parents, interact with teachers, and stay informed about what's happening in the school.
For parents of incoming Kindergarten students, we offer a Kindergarten Transition Group. This group provides a supportive environment where children can familiarize themselves with the school and connect with qualified teaching staff. Information sessions throughout the year will help parents understand Kindergarten and school life and provide guidance on how to support their child's learning at home.
Throughout the year, we organize various events and celebrations, such as our Multicultural Celebration Day. On this day, students are encouraged to dress in their national costumes, green and gold, or flag colors, showcasing the diversity of our school community. We believe in fostering a sense of unity and understanding among our students, teachers, and the wider community.
As we embark on our educational journey, we would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land on which we stand. We honor and recognize the contributions of Elders, both past and present.

"Great teachers, great staff and great headmaster, interacts with all students and parents"
"A great school. My sons attend this school, one of them in yr 6 this year and he will truely miss this school. He's had wonderful teachers that have really supported him and guided him over the years. I have not had an issue with any of the teachers. Infact they are all genuinely supportive and careing towards the kids. The office ladies are also lovely. Mr Pope is the current principle and he is very supportive with his staff and nice to see the principle interact with the kids, they just love him! I Highly recommend Thomas acres for your little one."
"Anyone who says the teachers are strict are dumb, they are wonderful the other people are just saying that because their children misbehave, but its a great school."
"Great Teacher's and Staff at this school. I highly recommend this school to anyone in and around the area. My kids will miss everyone from TAPS so thank you to everyone who made my children feel so welcome over the past few years they have been coming here."
"I used to attend this school, it was a mildly good experience. However two of brothers haven’t had good experiences. The youngest out of the two who attend here, is part of the support unit; however he had gotten suspended because of a minor conflict with another student. The eldest out of the two, has had eight 20 day suspensions; however practically all the suspensions all have something in common. He removed himself from the classroom because the class is too noisy. The school has given him permission to remove himself if it’s too noisy. They’ve also had his autism papers for 2 years but are yet to put him in the support unit. Don’t send your kids here. It’s a bad place."
