"Room was not very clean on arrival, Beds were very uncomfortable, we had a 2 bed apartment and all4 agree on the beds. Lift issues but we were pre warned with upgrades but the lift sync is the worst I have come across. Staff were very attentive, pool area excellent, location excellent in the heart of it all, 5 min to George St, 19 minutes to Westfield and all surrounding shops, 20 minutes walk to the harbour area. Trains and light rail on your doorstep if you dont enjoy lots of walking. The biggest issue is we had our grandson and other families on our floor had babies and they put a group of youngsters in a room on our floor, from midnight until 3am they were excessively noisy, which is to be expected of younger people thats where room management needs to be applied."
"I'm not one for leaving reviews.. sadly i have had to. Very poor service, check in was 3pm we were stuck until 5pm with no room (we had our 60+ year old grandma with us) Once we did get to our room at 5:30pm there was blood stains on the bedroom walls, ripped bed sheets. A security guard even doubting a family going back to the hotel room at 12am, after a dinner a few drinks. The service was poor and not considerate. I am a very easy going person but I am disgusted by pitt street meriton. The other meritons have been nothing but good service."
"I booked king size bed deluxe room for 3 nights from 3 August 2023. Room size is good but cleanliness wise was poor. I thought there would be daily house keeping but i was told by the reception they only do house keeping once every 4 days! To my horror, there were many flies in the bathroom. I called the front desk and even went down to the lobby to tell the receptionist to do something as the flies were in the bedroom as well. I.even showed the disgusting photos of the flies that i had taken. The staff were oblivious to my feedback. Disappointing service!!!."
"Beautiful stay, but service was a little rough around the edges. Told our room would get priority to be ready, and they would notify us. We had to chase them 10min after our checkin time only to be told it was ready. Our girls had to share the double bed (which were two singles) because we didn't give notice when booking, we didn't get that option. We lost 3 weeks of our lives waiting for the lift, which kept missing our floor. But we'll turned out rooms and great views."
"We booked the 3 bedroom suite, for 6 friends visiting Sydney. The suite is large and spacious with a full kitchen, laundry and two bathrooms. Great location we could walk everywhere and was close to public transport. Lovely views we could see the bridge from our lounge room. We even had a balcony. Staff were great the only downfall was waiting time for the lifts but they are currently upgrading them at the moment. It was surprisingly quiet affordable. I would definitely stay again."
