Welcome to St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School, a faith-based Christian co-educational institution located in Greenfield Park, Australia. Established in 2002, our school is affiliated with the Holy Apostolic Assyrian Church of the East and offers classes from Kindergarten to Year 6.

At St Hurmizd, we provide students of any background with a unique education based on 21st-century pedagogy. Our goal is to equip them with the necessary skills to become active Australian citizens while reflecting the faith, heritage, language, and culture of the Assyrian Church of the East.

From humble beginnings with just 86 students, St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School has grown to serve over 700 students. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes Religious Studies, Assyrian Language, and all NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Key Learning Areas.

Our motto, 'Haimanoota, Yartoota and Yulpana' which translates to 'Faith, Heritage, and Education', reflects our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of our students.

At St Hurmizd, we understand the importance of fostering curiosity and enthusiasm in our students. We encourage hands-on learning experiences, such as Science Week, where students engage in captivating experiments and scientific discoveries.

Literacy and numeracy skills are foundational to a successful education. Therefore, we prioritize the development of these skills during the primary years of schooling.
