"Thank you for the replacement solar controller for my gate, all working fine 5/07/2023 and old unit being mailed back 7/07/2023. Initially reported issue on the 22nd of May (light flashing thats its overcharging, did fault diagnosis on phone, was advised wait and to see if it still charged.. ) immediately sent photos through. Yes it did flatten batteries, as reported and and still waiting. Reported issue again on the 27/05/2023 was asked again to send photos again, which was done on 28/05/2023 at 12.29PM. Pulled the batteries out today 1/06/2023 to manually charge. Voltage was 6V for each instead of 12V each. The controller has defaulted to a 12V bridged voltage instead of 24V. Still waiting.... Happy to review my feedback when this is sorted. Addendum 2/6/2023; 3.40pm.: Purchased an additional battery to match a spare gate battery I had that was newish, whilst the OEM Batteries were recharging. Discovered a loose bridging connection wire's plug was actually a loose crimped join so I replaced the crimped join with a new end. This has been in-situ for past 4 hours: charger now not flashing "overcharge" (good progress) for last 4 hours, charge indicator gone from 2 lit panels to 3 ( out of 4) update 3/07/23 received replacement solar charge controller, installed and swapped over the OEM supplied batteries in a fully charged state on 5/07/23. Charging indicator for solar panel now showing as charging. The Solar Controller is indicating batteries being 1/2 charged via only 2 lit LED out of 4. How ever all seems to be working fine, thank you."
