They charged $4,000 in fees to make a simple booking for our honeymoon and tried to take advantage of Covid to charge the same excessive amount again when we were forced to postpone travel due to restrictions. Would never use again and do not recommend. If you use, recommend asking for disclosure of the fees they are charging you as these are not offered up transparently."

"African Wildlife Safaris (AWS) arranged the first leg of our glorious 2020 Grand Africa Tour (via a Travel Agent). We were to celebrate our 20th year anniversary as well as my wife's 50th birthday with 3 weeks covering Botswana/Zimbabwe (AWS), then 10 nights on a Luxury Escapes tour of Kenya and Tanzania, then 6 nights getting to/from the Seychelles. Alas, Covid-19 has shattered our 2-year dreams, and we will not be able to do our coveted trip. African Wildlife Safaris is the first counterparty to screw us. They took our $1,523 deposit last year, and now they are saying that our options are (1) "cancel" (when of course we would like to go on our trip!!) or (2) take a $705 haircut, and take a $818 credit for travel in 2021. Please make sure you consider carefully dealing with this unprofessional and unscrupulous outfit."
