"Ripping people off. Gave my watch to repair and the quote price was 70, went to pick up and they increased it to 90 stating glass was broken and had to fix it but it was perfectly fine before. Also my watch had 7 diamonds they stole 1 diamond . Returned it with only 6. Will not recommend to anyone. Lady at the counter had terrible customer service refused to give me receipt for proof"
"These liars and thieves destroyed my grandfather's fob watch, a family heirloom. I brought in the watch to fix the winder as it had stopped working, the watch was in perfect working condition otherwise. I wish I had the foresight to take photos before handing it over to them because when I returned they claimed that the watch had no winder at all and no glass over the clock face and it would be over $450 to replace them. Both are untrue as I was using the watch up until the winder stopped working. Do not trust these liars or make sure you photograph everything you bring them."
"We live out at Bringelly at least an hours drive to get to David's and wouldn't use anyone else to service our watches, clocks or jewellery, we're so glad to have found him. His attention to detail and knowledge of antique and modern clocks and watches would be second to none and his work is supurb with very fair pricing. Thanks Debby and Matt."
"I needed to extend the bracelet on a vintage Rolex watch so rang up this place, spoke to a lady who told me to source the links and it can be done and that they're open right up until Christmas. Rang up again to ask if they were open on the weekend and spoke to a man this time, presumably the owner. He was helpful and told me to go in and they can have a look at how many links I would need to order, as these are ordered from Rolex and aren't cheap. The next day (Saturday) I planned to go and have it looked at as discussed, made another phone call before going in to ask if they also did ring resize and spoke to the same lady again. Only this time I was told not to bother going in to their shop at all as they don't have time to do anything before Christmas. I said that's fine I can wait till after Christmas (as I won't receive the links until early next year anyway), and explained that I just want to go and get some advice on how many links to order and to get a quote on resizing a diamond ring, and was once again rudely told not to bother going in as they don't want to waste time talking to people since they are supposedly booked out until Christmas - even when I was told something entirely different the day before! She then had the audacity to add that I'm welcome to go see them in the new year - when they need work how convenient for them! This is NOT how you get business from potential clients, you may as well close your door when you tell people to don't bother visiting during opening hours. Waste of time when I could have engaged with another place that's willing to help, and there are plenty other places that want the business! The watch repairer in Westfield have been very helpful and told me he's happy to assist with anything anytime. So guess where I'll be going? Silly way to treat people when running a small business. I'll be telling family and friends to avoid this place."
"Dave recreated a a very old and worn special piece of costume jewellery for me in gold. Every detail was perfect. The quality of his workmanship is excellent. He is also repairing my grandmother's ring at the moment and I have every confidence in the end result. I trust his skill and professionalism completely."
