"I went in to return an item my husband brought from another store however the store manger was very rude and insisted that we lost the packaging however that was how it was handed to us from the other store. I found the store manger very rude she even continued to make comments after we exchanged. I found this very disappointing and terrible customer service."
"I was a bit dubious going to the Swarovski at MacArthur after reading the reviews. I had to return a pair of earrings. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The two female staff were lovely, friendly and so helpful. There was no issue about returning my earrings. All was completed without any fuss and the refund was made on the spot. I did advise the two young ladies that the store had bad reviews and they advised they were aware and that that was when the old management was there. Recommend giving the store and the staff another chance."
"Had a wonderful experience in macarthur swarovski. Evana was very helpful and she went over and beyond to help me. I went there to clean my necklace but ended up leaving with a new replacement. She also explained warranty option for my jewellery which I never knew existed before. So professional and helpful. In general staff here were so lovely and caring."
"I had the most horrific experience today at this store. I attending in an attempt to exchange items I received for Christmas. Upon reviewing the items, the store manager suggested that the item was fake as people often purchase counterfeit items. She then went on to suggest that perhaps the item was from a 2014 collection (?!) and no longer available. I explained it wasn’t in the nature of the gift giver to purchase fake items, I showed her that the items were still available for purchase online and explained that we regularly purchased from the narellan store. I queried whether she could review the persons account in the system to find a transaction record to which she ignored and handed me back the item and sent me on my way. I left the store and felt extremely uncomfortable by how the situation was handled, especially because she did not take the opportunity to review the gift givers account. I then returned moments later to ask her to check the account for proof of purchase. As I returned, I approached the register where the manager was speaking to another staff member about me. She didn’t realise I was standing there and I heard her saying words to the effect “this is the issue with customers. They are given items, hold on to them for years and then try a return them claiming they are Christmas gifts”. I interjected and explained that certainly was not the case to which the manager looked at me with surprise as she didn’t realise I had returned. I explained that I was back as she had not checked the account. I asked her to confirm whether she was the manager to which she said “yes I am”. I then said that it was highly unprofessional and in appropriate for her to be speaking poorly about customers, to her staff members in an open space around other customers and that instead she should be leading by example. She responded words to the effect of I understand. She then located the account to which had proof of purchase of the item. She explained that she still needed a receipt as the computer says 3 pieces. I explained that was because the gift giver purchased 3 of the same piece for me and my two sisters. She then explained that she still wasn’t able to do anything as it only shows the total of the sale and not the price paid per item - I then suggested she simply divide the total by 3. She then became frustrated and raised her voice stating “I still don’t have to refund you without a receipt”. I told her I was extremely upset by what I had just encountered and that I was trying extremely hard to process my emotions and suggested she not raise her voice at me. I explained she had proof of purchase and that was enough for her to be able to provide me with the opportunity to exchange the item for a piece I already owned but lost on Christmas Day. She then attempted to explain she was not speaking about me and proceeded to process the exchange. I told her I had heard her clearly and asked for a credit note instead and left the store. At no point did she apologise for her behaviour. I have never been treated so poorly by retail staff in my life. The store managers treatment towards me made me feel extremely insulted, humiliated and small. I think urgent coaching and retraining of the store manager is required as a matter of urgency. Absolutely no customer should ever have to experience that treatment again."
