Welcome to Matraville Youth & Cultural Hall, a vibrant institution located in Matraville, Australia. Situated on the corner of Knowles Avenue and Pozieres Avenue, our hall is conveniently adjacent to a large open space reserve, providing a picturesque setting for a variety of activities.

At Matraville Youth & Cultural Hall, we offer a versatile space that is available for hire for a range of activities. Whether you're looking to host karate, dance, or music classes, exercise sessions, or even children's birthday parties, our hall is the perfect venue. With ample space, well-maintained toilets, and a fully equipped kitchen, we strive to provide a comfortable and convenient environment for all our visitors.

Please note that while our facilities are spacious and well-equipped, we do not currently have wheelchair accessible toilets. However, we are committed to ensuring inclusivity and accessibility, and we are actively working towards improving our facilities in this regard.

Our hall is conveniently located near on-street parking, making it easily accessible for all visitors. Additionally, if you need assistance or have any queries, our friendly staff at Council's Customer Service Centre, located in the Administration Building at 30 Frances Street Randwick, are ready to assist you. We also have a 24-hour drop box at the entrance of the Administration Building, where you can conveniently return the keys after your booking. Please ensure that the keys are returned by 12 noon the following business day to avoid any deductions from your bond.

Speaking of bonds, the refund of your bond will be processed once the keys have been returned and all conditions of hire have been met. Depending on your payment method, the bond will be refunded onto your credit card, by cheque, or through direct deposit into your nominated bank account. Please note that this process may take between 5-10 business days.

We are excited to share that Randwick Council has recently endorsed a new Play Spaces Strategy, which includes big plans for the development of play spaces for our little ones. We are committed to creating safe and enjoyable spaces for children to play and grow.

Furthermore, Randwick City Council acknowledges and pays respects to the Bidjigal and Gadigal Clans, who traditionally occupied this area of the Sydney Coast. We honor and recognize the contributions of the Elders, both past and present.
