"My two children attend Thomas Hassall, 1 in Kindergarten and 1 in Prep. From the moment we entered the school community we have always felt welcomed by staff and other families. The Prep program is amazing my daughter actually enjoys going and the communication between her teacher and us is great, it also helped my son have a smooth transition into Kindergarten this year. The Kindergarten teachers and also the more senior teachers who assist the kindergartens of a morning and afternoon are so friendly welcoming and helpful. The school also offers additional services during school hours such as Speech Therapy which is a massive help for working parents. Overall we have a had a fantastic start to our Thomas Hassall Journey and look forward to many years ahead."
"A great school with excellent facilities for its students. My son has been attending since prep and with the support of his wonderful teachers has grown academically and socially. The ability for parents to be involved if they so choose has fostered a real sense of community for students. Highly recommend."
"I have a daughter in Prep and a son in year 1 and every day i feel so blessed that my kids get to come to such a beautiful school. The kids and their families of everyone who i have connected with are all absolutely beautiful people. The teachers that we have had are wonderful. My daughter has a teacher who plays the guitar and sings to the class and my daughter thinks she is the best. My son has needed extra help with reading and the school has exceeded our expectations for being supportive, for identifying and getting him the extra help he needs. We are seeing him improve so much. I love how the school teaches the act of kindness and how we get to participate in meaningful programs that impact others lives. For example my son is collecting bottles and cans in his class to save money to go to a child overseas who needs it. The after school programs are fantastic. My son attends the soccer program and in this short time is loving it. I am very happy with the communication we receive through newsletters, emails and posts about our individual child’s achievements. Both my kids have made lots of friendships and they are being taught to be inclusive and respectful children. I highly recommend this school, the facilities are clean and well maintained and all equipment that i have seen appears well maintained, clean and of high standard."
"Can’t not speak highly enough about the school. We started here 4 years ago not knowing anyone and now we feel like such a part of the community. The opportunities our children have in the class room and for after school sports are exceptional, the teachers are all amazing and supportive and are always providing feedback. We have loved our experience so far and look forward to many more years here."
"I'm a student. I joined THAC in year 7 and I was welcomed very well. My peers and teachers make me feel welcome and comfortable. The uniform policy is quite annoying but it's not too bad. The canteen has really good food and snacks, The toilets are like any other school and the education is quite good. The school gives lots of opportunity for sport and education. Scholarships are available and they will reduce to fees from an amount of 10% depending on the scholarship. Most of the teachers are awesome just be nice to the teachers and you'll be fine. There are annoying kids I wouldn't say bullies just some kids who just act out sometimes. The bell times are decent school starts at 7:55 and ends at 2:35. The homework isn't bad and the assignments aren't bad either you usually get 1 per subject a term. Overall good school good people nice events epic"
