At Penrith Early Learning Centre, we pride ourselves on our boutique personalised service. Our qualified educators are passionate about empowering children to be capable and confident learners. We believe that every child is a capable learner and we strive to create a child-centred curriculum that fosters their growth and development.
Our educators build warm, trusting, and reciprocal relationships with children, families, and communities. We support children in building positive relationships through social competence, empathy, and respect. Communication is a key aspect of our service, and we ensure that it is supportive, respectful, and responsive to the needs of all families.
We utilize our environment as the third teacher, creating an open-ended space where children can explore, create, and imagine. Our educators encourage sustainable practices and provide a variety of materials to help children understand the importance of their world. We also offer excursions to actively involve children in their local community.
As responsive educators, we believe in allowing children to initiate and direct their own play, while recognizing teachable moments to support their learning. Our centre cook accommodates all dietary needs, including allergies and cultural preferences. We prioritize the well-being of each child and promote care, empathy, and respect in their interactions with others.

"Our daughter has been going here for just on a month now, and we are so happy. From the very first meeting with Vanessa for our tour, i knew this was the centre for us. All the staff are amazing and very warm and welcoming. My daughter has settled in really well and is already forming bonds with her educators."
"Anyone considering sending your child here, read this first! This daycare once had a great reputation with the previous center director and owner (between 2018 - 2021). From 2022 onwards staff began to turnover and the owner sold the centre, things started to go down hill, real quick. The centres current center director is known all around the industry for her lack of professionalism and care towards the kids and their families. The new owner doesn't care for the kids or their families well being, it's clear as day that he is only interested in lining his pockets. This is evident by not sourcing the right people to rectify issues, he attempts to fix them himself and I do say attempt cause the issues are never fixed. The smashed front window hasn't been replaced In months The electrical lock has been put on the front door to stop chirldren from open the door but doesn't work and hasn't worked since being fitted well over 6 months ago. The front gate was falling off the hinges and wasn't touched for weeks until parents started raising their concerns. The daycare is heavily understaffed cause no one wants to work under the current centre director. Children have been seen by parents leaving an over occupied room, unoccupied and making their way all the way out to the front gate before another parent noticed and the children were ushered back to the room by staff. 2 children were seen unsupervised by an educator in a room alone, at that point it was brought to the centre directors attention who seem to not be over fussed nor concerned with the seriousness of the matter. Your allowed in the centre of an afternoon to pick up your children but not in the morning, they make you and your family sit outside in the freezing cold waiting for them to answer the door to let you in. Some times not even acknowledging that the bell rings and have you waiting for over 10+ minutes. Child development is out the window here if you want your child to learn and grow this isn't the place. They barely watch your kid let allown teach them and encourage them to grow. The quality on their OWNA updates went to a poor level aswell after 2021. No one had anything positive to really say most of the time, children were clearly not engaging in the same level of activity, the staff would just take a photo of your child playing & deem that as sufficient. The daycare lacked any form of activities for the kids to do. They relied on the parents suggesting activities for the kids to forfill throughout the day, which showed the educators lack of experience. They even took a bunch of 3 year olds to an ANZAC memorial as a "field trip" just because it was down the road and FREE. What 3 year old would enjoy an ANZAC memorial let alone know what it is?! Mind you this was the first field trip in 2 years. Staff turnover is extremely high here, and you can clearly see why. Unfortunately it is a disadvantage to the parents as they are met with a new person looking after their kid almost every couple of weeks. The daycare takes legitimately no effort into introducing families to new educators on who they are and where they came from. We had no clue since the new owner and centre director took over. Who are these new people looking after our kids?! Toys are broken, Over used and never replaced. The centre itself is heavily outdated, and lacks the proper maintenance it needs. We removed our children from attending the centre after close to 4 years. The level of service provided now is grossly dreadful compared to what it use to be with the previous center director an ownership. This is all knowledge gained from just what we have personally seen and experienced. It is gut wrenching to think what could have possibly gone on behind closed doors from what we couldn't have seen. I feel sorry for the remaining last 1 or 2 original educators that still work there, they deserve better & so do the familes currently attending. I wouldn't even consider attending this center, not even for a tour let alone a last resort to send your kid. Steer clear."
"This is a fantastic centre! The staff are wonderful and treat all the children with so much love and care. The centre director, Vanessa, is fabulous and is great at communicating with parents. I would happily recommend this centre to anyone! Thank you PELC for your terrific service and support."
"PELC has been an absolute game changer for my family. After having a bad experience with a previous daycare, PELC have truly been our saviours! Our son with special needs actually enjoys going to this centre & is now receiving the care he needs. The staff are lovely & go above and beyond to assist as much as possible. I cannot recommend this centre enough. Wish we had of been going here from the beginning. Our newest edition will definitely be attending this centre when of age. Thank you all so much!"
"My son recently joined PELC when I returned to work. At just 10 months old, I was very nervous about sending him to daycare. Jade and the carer’s have gone above and beyond my expectations to make me feel comfortable, and my son to feel cared for and safe. From the flexible and hands on orientation process, to the communication and care from the carers, our experience has been truly wonderful and I am so happy to come to work knowing my son is in such good hands and that he feels safe and happy too. I cannot recommend this centre highly enough."
