"I got what I paid for! Used Peter to do a manifold decarb, catch can install, coolant hose, suspension bracket. Pete said "leave it overnight, ready tomorrow arvo." 1. Next day, not ready. 2. Next day- he had to get a part from Melbourne. What part? We already had all the parts needed. 3. Next day - still not ready. 4. Next day, ready at 5pm. Got there at 5pm and he glares at me and angrily says "Ill call you when its ready!" That wasnt good enough for me so i stood by my car, and made him do the work. Was there till 9pm. 5 DAYS after he said it would be ready! - He filled the coolant resevoir right to the top. At least 1.5 litres above max. Told me this was fine, and it will settle. It didnt. - He "fitted" a leaf suspension collar. It slid off immediately. I called him and he told me they did it purposely that way so it could move around. That's like a doctor purposely casting a broken leg loosely, so the broken bones can move around. Ridiculous! Had to pay another mechanic $120 to fit the collar properly. I used him cause he was cheapest in area . God knows if he cleaned my manifold, or whether the catch can is fitted correctly. I guess I will only find out if the engine blows. Fingers Crossed! You get what you pay for."

"I had originally left a 5 star review, however the events that have preceded have resulted in editing my review for this business. We engaged Peter to complete an electrical system upgrade. This included installing lithium batteries, upgrading the DC/DC, installing a solar panel and upgrading the overall 12v system including extra sockets for USB. We also asked to install a compressor and a cellphone booster. When we booked the job originally, we were told it would take a week to complete. I dropped the car off as advised, called to see how they were going Thursday and received no response. I called multiple times with no answer, sent a text message that was left on read. I figure it was a busy time of year so I decided to go down to the shop in an Uber. When I arrived, I was met with excuses, asked to leave the car another week. I agreed, advised we were going on a 3,000km trip and confirmed we needed the work done before we went. He promised it would be done that week. Same story again, called with no response, texted and was left on read. I went down to the shop again with the same story. We were asked to wait another week, leading us up to the night before we were supposed to leave for our trip. After a third week, I went down to the shop again. The work STILL wasn't completed. In fact, it hadn't even been started. Peter said he promised it would get it done if only I would pick it up the next day, he would work on it all night. I had no option but to accept his offer. My concern was that there was not enough time for testing the system, however we obliged and I returned the next morning to pick up the car. The batteries were installed, the 12v wiring had been upgraded, however the solar panel, compressor and cellphone booster were not installed. He asked us to go away for our trip, come back as soon as we returned and he would finish the rest immediately. As a result of the delays, we weren't able to leave Sydney due to the lock down restrictions which sent our travel plans out the window. This is frustrating, however it's the world we live in now. My issues with this business are as follows; 1. The communication is TERRIBLE. Running a business is tough, however not returning calls and providing basic updates to the point where your customers need to spend hundreds of dollars in Ubers to check on you is unacceptable 2. The scheduling is a complete and utter mess. To have a client have a vehicle held for 3 weeks with no work being completed without appropriate scheduling is unacceptable 3. The quality of the work is POOR. Not only was the work not finished, it was not tested. We have experienced nothing but issues with the 12v system with shorting occurring even to the level of our fan battery exploding due to overloading. This is seriously dangerous and could have hurt or killed someone 4. The customer service and follow up is NON-EXISTANT. I have been trying for a month to get the vehicle booked in to finish the work and the same story. They still have parts of mine that they have not returned. Overall this is the worst experience I have had with a specialist mechanic in my life. There are systemic issues with this business and I would not recommend any significant work to be done here for the above-mentioned reasons. Peter, I hope you sort yourself out as you are a nice bloke but how your business is structures is unsustainable."
