Exciting news for the kids in Baulkham Hills! Just in time for summer, we have completed a remarkable $65,000 upgrade to our play equipment at Harry Carr Reserve. The Hills Shire Mayor, Dr Michelle Byrne, had the pleasure of exploring the new facility this morning alongside regular park user, Sian McGinty.

The new play equipment boasts a vibrant and engaging play structure suitable for children of various ages. Additionally, we have added a roundabout, synthetic soft-fall grass, new accessible seating, and an accessible swing set to ensure that every child can enjoy their time at our park. For easier access, the play equipment is connected to a newly installed concrete pathway that seamlessly joins the existing pathways.

In our efforts to enhance the park's ambiance, we have also planted several native trees to provide better shading. Our approach prioritizes natural means of shading, creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for families to relax and play.

Harry Carr Reserve has always been a treasured location for families in Baulkham Hills, and we believe that the new play equipment will be incredibly popular among residents. Mayor Byrne, as a West Ward Councillor and Baulkham Hills resident herself, expressed her excitement about having more safe and fun places to take her twin girls as they grow older.
