About the Business
Welcome to Hume Visitor Information, located at 44 Macedon Street in Sunbury, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing visitors with all the necessary information and assistance to make their stay in Hume City a memorable one.
At Hume Visitor Information, we strive to be your go-to travel agency, offering a range of services to help you plan and navigate your trip. Whether you need advice on the best attractions to visit, assistance with booking accommodations or transportation, or simply want to learn more about the local culture and heritage, our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you.
In addition to our travel agency services, we also provide valuable updates and announcements about important events and developments in the area. For instance, we inform visitors that the Bolinda Road Resource Recovery Centre in Campbellfield will be closed on Sunday, September 3rd due to maintenance work by Jemena. However, the Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre will remain open for your convenience.
Furthermore, we keep you informed about the latest decisions made by Hume City Council, such as their withdrawal of an application in the recent court hearing. We also celebrate the remarkable contributions and service of Howard Mitchell, who has been employed with the council for an impressive 50 years.
As part of our commitment to community engagement, we encourage you to have your say on the playspace concept designs for Turnberry Drive Reserve in Sunbury and Strathconnon Square Reserve in Tullamarine. Your feedback is valuable in shaping the improvements and amenities in these areas.
Additionally, we seek community input on the proposed name of Rhyolite Drive Reserve, as we believe it is essential to provide clear identification for visitors and newcomers to the area.
For those looking to expand their skills and knowledge, we proudly offer workshops organized by FReeZA's HYPE crew. These workshops are designed to help you upgrade your skills and have a great time while doing so. Come and join the HYPE!
Art enthusiasts will be delighted by our contemplative series of intricate drawings showcasing Australian birds. These stunning pieces, rendered in colored pencil on brown paper, capture the beauty and diversity of our native avian species.
Furthermore, we understand the importance of environmental sustainability, which is why we organize Hume Clean Days. These events provide an opportunity for you to responsibly recycle electronic items, mattresses, whitegoods, tires, and couches, ensuring a cleaner and greener community.
Lastly, Hume City Council acknowledges and celebrates the rich Aboriginal heritage within our municipality. We recognize the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung, including the existing family members of the Gunung-Willam-Balluk clan, as the Traditional Custodians of this land. We embrace and honor the living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as an integral part of Australia's identity, paying respect to Elders past, present, and future.
At Hume Visitor Information, we are dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and ensuring that your visit to Hume City is a truly memorable experience.

Reviews
"The staff and volunteers at this information centre are knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful location in the old courthouse. Lots of local products on display that can be purchased."
"Its moved! We planned this stop especially to get in and see this cute building and to buy postcards and a few local bits we thought would be available due to other reviews. Well they have moved the centre over the road, its now a shared space with the library and shire office. The staff were very helpful and lovely, lots of brochures and recommendations however we couldn't get postcards or other bits we thought might be available."
"Information centre with a bit of history as its run out of an old Petty Courts building and next door is an old gaol and lovely gardens on site."
"This is a cool visitor center. It's been converted from being a petty court. There is a judge table and a witness and accuser box. The kids will have a bit of fun an photo op if you ask for the wig and gown."
"On March 3rd I found myself lost in Sunbury, looking for directions to Melton.Thankfully I came across the Sunbury Visitor Information Centre, and met three lovely warm people who helped me find my way. This is a small thank you note of appreciation to the manager and staff who very ably helped me.Sunbury is a long way from Mt.Dandenong where I reside. So once again thank you for your help,Best regards , Arnold Tihema"
