"Quick lunch with kids. Ordered biangbiang noodle and lamb noodle. Definitely hand pulled noodle, bold flavour. Lamb skewers are not really good. Bit dry. Pork intestines is my favourite! Deep fried, crispy and tender."
"This is definitely the best restaurant in Epping. Been here about 5 times and everything they cook, they do it really well. Dumplings, hand made noodles, rice dishes are very authentic and worth writing home about. If you are into this kind of Chinese food then you gotta try it. Don't bother trying the alternatives in Eastwood. This place stomps on them."
"Homey little restaurant with tasty Xi'an dishes! Texture of the handmade noodles are chewy and slightly bouncy. Portions are generous. Recommend the "large plate chicken with belt noodles" ($30) which is served on literally a rather large plate! Only downside is that the staff only speak Mandarin and communicating in English can be difficult. Sign of authenticity I guess!"
"Top quality authentic dishes, only for those who really want the true experience - customer service style and all! Staff are not rude, it's just how they speak in their culture and it sounds unreal to those who don't understand. One of the better seabay stores around in terms of taste and menu items. Food was not oily or soggy. Spicy is the standard, and "no spicy" will still be slightly spicy. My new local joint. Highly recommended."
"Pretty decent food here. Only negative I had was cleanliness - what we witnessed is probably what happens in a lot of kitchens behind closed doors but seeing it first hand this time makes it less appetising(?). We were sat right in front of the kitchen area - and you can see the chef dipping his fingers in to taste the broth, also sipping of the ladle used for cooking. Probably not ideal given we’re still in the middle of this pandemic. We had the biang biang noodles with beef ($16.5) which was really tasty and we loved the texture of the noodles. Beef was tender as with most Asian restaurants where they velveted the protein. This biang biang noodle must also be a different variation to what they serve at the Biang Biang restaurant - it’s on the sweeter side, tomatoey and has potatoes and carrots in the sauce. The beef noodles ($14.5) was average. Tender meat, noodle texture was a little tougher."
