Ms.G’s 155 Victoria Street, Potts Point, New South Wales 2011

"After reading about what sounded like a fun and exciting menu, my husband and I booked Ms G's for my birthday dinner. I couldn't wait to try the Cheeseburger spring rolls and 'Strange flavour' burrata which I had heard so much about! We had the option of having the banquet menu at $88 per head (extra add ons for an additional cost) but in the end opted on choosing our own dishes. We started with the highly anticipated Cheeseburger spring roll followed by Mini bánh mì-Lemongrass & chicken katsu. All I can say is YUM and flavour OMG, so much flavour! The spring roll actually tasted like I was biting into a cheeseburger full of goey cheesy goodness. It's a must. This was followed by the Mini bánh mi which was also very tasty and full of flavour. It was crunchy, salty and sweet all in one. At this point we were very happy and super excited to try the rest of our dishes. Not long after our starters came the Kingfish-aged ponzu, kombu, chives. The kingfish was sliced perfectly and presented beautifully on a plate with a generous amount of aged ponzu. It was light and perfectly balanced, so much so that I wanted to just pick up the plate and drink the left overs. Next on the menu was 'Strange Flavour' burrata accompanied with (for an extra $10) Matt's light, fluffy and yummy warm bread. Recommend! The burrata was beautifully fresh, soft and goey when sliced into. However the game changer was the sesame sauce with chilli oil, spinach & peanuts that it was swimming in. I couldn't get enough of Matt's bread which I scooped up the burrata and chili oily goodness, DELICIOUS! Lastly to finish off our evening we had Jow's Sweet & Sour Lamb Ribs - lemongrass, black vinegar, lime with steamed rice. These are a must have! The lamb ribs were sticky, sweet and salty. They were cooked beautifully and pulled nicely of the bone. I recommend ordering rice to go with them, its a nice little added extra to help soak up all that delicious sauce. By the end of the evening we were so full but extremely happy!!"

"This place is absolutely divine. Words cannot describe the experience I had. A compact and cozy 5 storey building with Amazing decor, Amazing Music and Even better than Amazing food. Every single dish was it's own experience. The strange flavour burratta really stood out for me. It was unlike anything i've ever had before and the flavours were absolutely divine. The prawns were soft and creamy, and the lamb was a shot of sticky, sweet and spicy goodness. The chicken salad was amazing too. The atmosphere, the friendly staff and the wonderful lemon slushy cocktail I had. Saddens me I may never find a place like this again. I would have ordered one of everything had I known what I know now. Writing this review from home in Melbourne just makes me want to fly back. Oh and that dessert. Yuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm."

"FANTASTIC! this place was such a vibe! To start the drinks were amazing - awesome cocktail menu. We then had the king fish which was so delicious. The cheeseburger spring rolls were really cool too! I order burrata everywhere I go and Ms.G's one was so unique and tasty! Never had burrata like that before. Great work guys! I''ll definitely be back!"

"Food here was incredible. All dishes were very unique and made to such a high quality - would be difficult to find anything similar in Sydney. The strange flavour burrata was my favourite of the dishes. Atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool, seating was a little cramped however."
