"We used some HanWood Flooring from Bunnings which is supplied by QEP, and we had some issues with the top vinyl separating from the base joining plate. Obviously we didn't want our client to be left with bad flooring that was loose and bulging so we bought some replacement and replaced the broken boards. We took photos of the whole process, before removal, during removal, and the boards after removal. We then went through Bunnings to try and get a refund after trying to go straight to the company and they told us we had to go through Bunnings as that is where we bought it, which was fine. We then heard back from them and they rejected our claim because they could not check how it was fitted, again I could understand this if we hadn't have taken photos of the whole removal process, and if we were on the mainland, but we are in Tasmania, so who knows how long our client would have been forced to live with dodgy flooring before they actually got someone down here to have a look at it! In the end Bunnings came through for us and were amazing offering us $250 refund purely out of their own goodwill. We do not want a refund, just think that someone who is providing building materials it is extremely stupid to expect them to wait for you to come and inspect before they can replace it. Absolutely ridiculous, but couldn't recommend Bunnings enough, they were fantastic to us!"
"The QEP glass cutters are the worst and most expensive cutters I have ever bought. You can't use the QEP ones for more than 5 minutes before they come loose and the alignment of the cutting wheels is off After the huge sales pitch I am extremely disappointed I contacted the company who said we'll get back to you....They haven't Got the money and stitched up another glass artist The cheaper bunnings equivalent is so much better Don't waste your money"
