"Nice Chinese food. The cold cucumber starter was refreshing and crunchy. The nuts provided some texture and the sauce was slightly salty and sour. The cold bean noodles was also nice. It was slightly chilli and sour though I would have liked the noodles to be a bit more chewier. The cabbage was smoky and well seasoned and a bit spicy. The fish in pickled mustard green soup was great. The portion of the dish was great. The fish was subtle and tender. The greens made it slightly sour and the peppercorns made it a bit numbing. The lamb ribs were a bit disappointing. They were quite small and although tender, pretty dry."
"Taste 5/5 Value 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 We ordered the fish soup and pork mince eggplant. The serving for the fish soup is really huge. We love the taste. The pork mince eggplant is also good but i think bit sweet. Price is not expensive and if come bit late will have to wait for the queue. Best to come bit earlier to avoid the queue. Will definitely comeback again."
"A large menu with a lot of food choices. This place can get rather busy. We arrived at 6pm and was already a queue but because the staff works very efficiently, we didn't have to wait too long to get a seat. Ordering is via a QR system and once ordered you have 90min to eat. The dishes all came out within 10min hence enough time to eat within the timeframe. The servings are huge and definitely worth the price."
"Chongqing style restaurant. Nice decor and big lines in the evening. Fairly quick service. Cold chicken with peanut and szechuan chilli was my favourite. Tender chicken with mouth numbing and nutty sauce. Not quite as good as Spicy Joint's but decent. Great value at $15 Rice noodle hotpot was quite flavoursome and a large serving for $19. Moderately spicy. Not a huge fan of the spam however. Black pepper short ribs came out a little undercooked with raw onions. Flavour was also lacking. Requested a re-cook which they obliged and was somewhat better. Pepper flavour still not quite there and texture a bit soft. A bit expensive at $27"
"The sweet and sour fried fish had a thick layer of batter but the sauce wasn't too overly sour. Some items of the menu have the option to choose fresh, live fish or frozen fish (i think its about $20 difference). Would definitely return to try the fish with pickle vegies soup."
