"This large plumbing supply store seems to specialise in trade sales. My experience as a retail customer was the sales service was tardy and condescending. The asking price incorporated a hefty markup for a non-trade customer. Amazingly, I ended up buying the equivalent part from a DIY supplier for almost a $100 less."
"Bought Roca washbasin a year ago and still under warranty. Reported hairline crack and told it was due to thermal stress. I thought washbasins could handle hot water, not boiling water, of course. I asked for further explanation, but never heard again from Jessica Harris."
"Great with sales, not so much with returns. I tried to return a faulty sink mixer and they told me the faulty mixer has to be reinstalled and I need to provide the plumber's details so it can be "logged in" the system before it can be replaced. This was confirmed by a manager there. It didn't sound right, so I called up Reece customer care who confirmed that the store should just swap out the faulty mixer if it has already been removed. So clearly the guys working in the store don't know what they are talking about."
"Went to this store to purchase S shaped plumbing pipe stuff (I do have Power Pass from Bunnings but no account with Reece). I did show them the old pipe and asked if they have the same in stock. I was asked by the stuff to stand outside and call their number and describe my problem over the phone. So I did. Then the gentleman by the name Dave during our phone conversation told me that I need a professional help and suggested that I book a plumber. Horrible experience, rude and offensive with prices higher than among their counterparts."
