He expected me to make a 2 hour round trip knowing nothing about the role. If you want to fill a position start by treating your future employees with respect rather than condescension. For context I've worked in the industry for over 2 decades so don't assume it's just "industry standard" or being a bit rough around the edges. Fortunately here's the internet to leave a warning for the next guy."
