"The food is fine, but the delivery service by the restaurant is rubbish. Ordered takeaway on a Sunday evening and after an hour and I half I called find out what was happening and was told the driver had just left with our order. We are less than10 minutes away, but it took a further 30 minutes for the order to be delivered. The food was luke warm, I won't order from here again."

"Food needs and improvement, biryani wasn't that good. Chicken tikka masala was juicy, and tender but lack of the taste we craving for, it was blank. Planned to have ordered more but we change our mind. Atmosphere is good. Pricing is good. Service is good. Portion size is huge. Once I get a reply , i will delete my post. "We were the only diners of a Monday night but the atmosphere came via the festive music thought the interiors were lacking. Food wise we were impressed with everything we ate. Super soft and fluffy garlicky naan and deliciously creamy butter chicken. The serves were quite generous also. Would definitely have this on high rotation for takeaway if we were local"

"Finally we have found a great Indian Restaurant, the food and service are excellent. We have tried a number of the dishes and can honestly say they have all been delicious. We always order an entree (the mushrooms are amazing), 2 meat dishes, a vegetable, a flavoured bread and a biryani, the portions are excellent and as there is only the 2 of us there is plenty to takeaway and enjoy for dinner the next day. We enjoy going out for dinner, especially spending time with each other chatting over a glass of wine and good food. Royal Punjab is the perfect place for us to relax in comfortable chairs, and the staff are so lovely."
