"Went in today to grab a bite to eat while on my lunch break and was able to order straight away and have a chat with the owner who made everything for me fresh and fast as well! Never had a problem with this store and the food is always fresh and made with care. You can really tell that the owner takes pride in running this store and is trying to deliver a more than satisfactory customer experience with each order. Well and truly a fish and chip shop that aims to go above and beyond and succeeds everytime."
"We made a phone order and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. After 10 minutes I headed to the shop which is less than 5 minutes away. Walked in to find my burger with the lot was ready and in the warmer so I thought my whole order was ready, I paid for my order then proceeded to wait nearly 15 minutes for the rest of my order! I ask the young girl who served me my order is it normal to leave a burger in the warmer for 15 minutes while the rest of an order is being cooked to which she said “it hasn’t been in there that long” yet it was all ready cooked when I got there and i waited nearly 15 minutes! When I got home the burger was cold and I threw it in the bin and a waste off $10.90! This is actually the second time this has happened and I didn’t worry about it the first time and thought it was a once off but this isn’t good enough! Kudos for the owner for hiring young kids but they would be better doing their job rather than standing around talking to each other!. Simply not good enough!"
"First time and never going back.when I ordered I was told 15-20 mins. I saw our grilled fish put under the heat lamp at about the 20 min mark. When my hubby asked about our order the girl said we will call you! Whilst sitting in the shop waiting we observed an absolute kindergarten. Two particular I assume owners son and blonde tip fringe girl just mucking around! So frustrating when waiting for your order. And this was the total put off the blonde tip hair girl kept rubbing her running nose with her bare fingers and then would touch food packs and peoples food!!!! Get a tissue and be hygienic. When I went to check myself I was told the fish was under the heat lamp and just about to put our 2 scallops and 2 potato cakes in to be fried! I then demanded a refund! This had hit the 30 min mark! Our fish would have been lovely cooked already 10 mins prior! NEVER GOING BACK THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!"
