"Online Order on 8/7/23. Chicken cooked with wrong sauce. Was supposed to be Extra hot but turned out not hot at all. Have been going to other Nando shops. Marriott water was the worst regarding quality of food with online orders. Called customer care twice, no response. Will be going there again tonight to pick up online order. Will do another post. Hopefully management can do something about it."
"This venue struggles to manage orders!!! In the past we have been told there will be 1hour waits because they forgot to cook chicken… you’re a chicken shop?! On our most recent visit, we ordered no problem, staff were nice enough. However it was a very long 45+minute wait for 4 menu items…. A member of our group had to check on our order because we didn’t receive our drink for at least 40 minutes. For the price point and the wait time, the food is so not worth it! Also, I had to watch multiple different groups clear off and clean their own tables which wait staff neglected the whole length of our visit. The tables are left untended to and the dining area is very poorly managed. The food also sits under heat lamps for nearly ten minutes before being delivered to dine in customers, and as for takeaway, I watched several orders just sit incomplete under the heat lamps for nearly twenty minutes?! As someone with experience in hospitality there are some very key elements missing and anyone could tell that this store is not working anywhere near as efficiently or effectively as they should! Overall, so average and disappointing. We wanted a quick and tasty family meal and ended up spending nearly two hours in the cold restaurant:("
"Dropped in for takeaway on a Sat, and got some chicken and chips plus a few extra pita breads. The wait was a bit longer than they said, was outside of rush hour (visited around 3pm), and the chicken was a bit more dry (thus less tasty) compared to other Nando's outlets I've visited, but the positive is that everything I ordered was packed including the special orders. Place itself looks clean and inviting, wouldn't mind dining in sometime to see if there's a difference in food taste and texture when consumed on site. There's both indoor and outdoor dining. Free parking available."
"Very disappointed! First time here and the Chicken was dry and tasted burnt and barley any skin on the chicken. Didn't have enough sauce. I asked for extra sauce and no olvies on the Mediterranean salad in the special request note section But didn't even read/ listen to our request. But on a postive note the spicy rice and regular corn with medium sauce on it was perfect. It was quiet inside with 1 couple sitting in and 2 people waiting to collect food so I don't understand what happened for the food to be served like this?"
"Ordered online with the Nandos App at 7:15pm for ASAP. The App stated the food would be ready in 20min. On arrival the restaurant was overflowing with people waiting their orders. The team consisted of a Manager and 4 young employees all under 18. I finally was approached by the young man who went and checked on the progress and told me “15-20 mins longer” so I left and returned 20 mins later, I went in and still many of the familiar faces were still waiting and many complaining. The same young man approached me again and went to check the progress. This time he couldn’t find my order, he then returns looking for the number and returns stating “20 mins” I get angry because this meant that he just threw out a ran down time at the beginning. All up it took 90 mins to receive my purchase. I was waiting in the shop for 1 hour and had left children at home wondering where I was. The Manager needs to take accountability these young employees have not been taught how to deal with these situations. Additionally the online ordering needs to reflect more of an accurate waiting time. If the waiting time was longer and I knew I wouldn’t of been upset. So many learning opportunities from this experience. Food was great but unfortunately won’t be coming back because of the service. Moto of the story “Customers pay your wage, don’t get upset when they are frustrated over not receiving the service they paid for”."
