"UPDATE: So, from the restaurant's reply below, I understand they are not only ignorant but "arrogant", as well. Therefore, changing my rating from 2 to 1. Even after I pointed out something they could improve on in terms of their "customer service" (which the restaurant obviously doesn't have a clue on), they have hit back and said I am someone who makes up a story to look nice and confuse other customers. I am not going to make the details of my insurance provider, etc public to give this restaurant undeserving publicity, but anyone interested in checking my story out can probably either do a quick search or even reach out to me directly, if they like. In addition to the above, I am quite appalled by the restaurant's lack of professionalism and inability to get back with constructive feedback. TO THE RESTAURANT: I am perfectly fine if you don't want to serve me. Like you are the only Thai restaurant in Melbourne! Duh! :-) ORIGINAL: Great food, no doubt about that. However, their customer service is one to forget. I've first found this spot via my car insurance provider's "Rewards" app. I love Thai food and the app gives me a "recurring" 20% discount for orders made from Thai Garden, so I thought, I'd give it a go. All went well the first time and the food was great, so I ordered again from them about a month or two after. When I was picking up the food, the person at the counter remembered me, and said I already redeemed the discount and what not. Then I very patiently explained to her that the discount was "recurring" and a new discount code pops up every time I redeem the offer. She seemed convinced (albeit, reluctantly) and let me redeem the offer. After about 4 more months, I went to Thai Garden again, and, it was deja vu! Needless to say I was embarassed.. The staff, without a doubt, has a right to question things of that sort - I understand that. However, if the same thing happens over and over again, that means either the staff is utterly ignorant or they do it on purpose for some weird reason. On the other hand, if the restaurant has a problem with the insurance provider that offers this perk, they should probably liaise with them to fix whatever that's going on there without embarassing customers. Anyhow, not going to this restaurant again! And I urge others who are offered the same discount - from their insurance or other service providers - to not go to this restaurant to avoid being embarassed."

"Simply a must visit... then again.. and again..... you get the idea. Came here on Friday and was back by Sunday. Exceptional food at incredible value - how can you argue with that? If you're a fan of Thai cuisine and you haven't paid a visit to this joint - time to get your car keys."

"Nice little Thai place, very friendly sister and brother takes care of us on every visit. Weekends are generally little busy. We have been going to this place regularly for the past 3 years and quality of food is always awesome. Good work guys Awesome place to try for authentic Thai food and some good byo drinks. "Such a brilliant place that is hidden from all the glitz and busyness of the Glen Waverley King’s way. This place is located on the high street, slightly away from all the shoulder to shoulder walking traffic of the main food streets near the Glen Waverley train station. This place serves beautiful silky Thai green curry and equally mean stir fried Thai basil chicken. The dishes are exquisite. We have tried the Thai green curry, the pad Thai, the stir fried basil and the chilly chicken. Most of the dishes are top notch but we did have issues with the chilly chicken that was swimming in oil. We had asked for Extra Spicy Stir Fried Basil with Vegetables and it was mind blowing hot. Loved it. They do take your input on how hot you want the dishes and that works well. The only reason why I have given 4 stars is because of the chicken chilly almost floating in the swamp of oil and chillies."

"This place serves pretty decent Thai food I am not super picky but can discern what is good and bad and this place lies somewhere on the spectrum towards good. Servings were really generous and very reasonable value :) The pad Thai was more like pas chicken... More meat than noodles pretty crazy The service was really good as well Super respectful, though man turn the warm air down it was way too hot"
