"Food was ok. Service was incompetent. We ordered take away at the counter and they told us the meal would be half an hour. In reality we ended up waiting 45 minutes longer. So, all up we waited 75 minutes. At the half hour mark they told us our meal wouldn’t be much longer. After waiting 45 mins I complained nicely and they told us they had got a lot of orders after we ordered, well guess what, those orders come after our order. While I was there a lady said she got told half an hour and by the time I left she had been waiting an hour and 5 mins. Another lady who complained got told they were just packing her meal and it would be 5 mins, she ended up waiting 20 mins. I can understand if your estimates are out by 15 mins but not 30 mins longer or in our case 45 mins longer Stop lying to your customers about how long the meals will be, just tell us the truth and we will decide if we want to order. Having run a restaurant for a few years and occasionally dealt with these situations (by telling the truth), most people are prepared to wait, you may lose some orders, but you won’t lose repeat customers unlike yourselves, as I will never be back!"

"Went there for dinner over the weekend after a long time and was disappointed with the food just like Jane from the recent reviews. Seems the new management is not able to maintain the standards set by the previous owner who built this place over a period of time. Tried the tandoori and methi chicken and both seemed to lack the flavour and seems to be prepared in a rush. The only saving grace was the gajar halwa"

"Forced to write a negative review after ages due to really poor discriminatory service lacking basic common sense. After a long day, we walked in for a quick family dinner with my 4 year old. Although we could see at least 5 empty tables, the waitress apologised that we could not be accommodated and I was perfectly fine with it. However, after 10 mins another couple walked-in without reservations and they were immediately accommodated. We had already ordered takeaways and by this time the owner enquired with us and immediately he realised their mistake. I am giving 1 star just because the owner expedited our order and he thought of offering a free drink as a gesture. Ironically, two tables in front of us were still empty and they didn't even offer us to sit while they could see my toddler was getting a little restless. With this attitude and focus on customers(especially young families), good luck and wish you all the best."
