"Came here for a quick bite to eat (dinner) before a nearby school performance. Dropped in with no booking but they quickly made a table for us, took our order and bought out drinks and food in good time. Very attentive. Food was delicious, I had the beef tortellini with creamy pork and mushroom sauce and my partner had the beef lasagne. Will be back to try more when next in Mentone :)"
"Honestly shocked at how bad our take away meal was from here. The spaghetti Bolognese was 95 % pasta and the rest was 1% carrots and 4% sauce. It had no flavour at all. We asked for extra garlic and chilli to which they said wouldn’t be a problem. There was none. It was inedible. The other meal we ordered was agnolotti with bolognaise sauce. Again I had 1-2 tablespoons of sauce. It was completely dry. I rang the restaurant to complain and was offered 20% off my next order. I told him I wouldn’t be ever ordering again if this is their usual standard. I feel a free meal of the Bolognaise should have been offered as we really didn’t receive what they advertised. It was seriously the worst pasta I’ve ever tried. Waste of money. I paid over $50. Please don’t risk it."

"Went there with my family for mother's day and had a great night. I recommend their pizzas, arancini balls and their coctails. Plus my son was the first customer to try their rib eye steak with mushroom sauce and it was cooked to perfection. We'll be coming back."
"Used to be amazing, now not so much. The Amatriciana sauce used to be filled with pancetta and had a nice kick of spice to it. Not there’s barely any pancetta and no spice kick at all. The Arancini was a little bland and the texture inside was rather mushy. It almost tasted undercooked. The calamari was tasty, no complaints there. The other pasta we ordered was over cooked and wasn’t seasoned. We did get a free tiramisu but it wasn’t enough to make up for the let down. Probably will not return, which is very disappointing as this was the best Amatriciana sauces we’d had in Melbourne."
