"The service was great. Cheap food for under $20 Sadly, the food tasted of instant ramen and a boiled egg with a werid sugary pork slice. Gyoza tasted more out of a frozen packet and was not pan-fried long enough. Goyza was not homemade."
"Came to Tokyo Table on a Wednesday night, still pretty busy and had to queue for around 15 mins. The experience was great overall, highly recommend the Wagyu Tadaki, the flavour was great and it was fun to grill it a bit ourselves. The pieces were quite small though and very thinly cut. Other dishes were okay, we found the soba dipping sauce a bit too bland. Also, we were told that there weren't any sushi for the day, but everyone around us who came later were having sushi..."
"Came here for the Pork Tonkatsu and it didn’t disappoint. For this price point, I think it’s hard to beat Tokyo Table. Food was served fast, staffs are friendly. The crumbs on the pork cutlet is something else. Make sure you make a booking on weekends because the restaurant tend to be full during lunch and dinner."
"Tokyo table was ok. I ordered the Zara saba which I haven’t had for many years now. It wasn’t very tasty so gets diluted quickly once you start eating the saba. The salmon sushi wasn’t bad either"
"EDIT: on our last visit the new staff member was so unpleasant and rude to us that it has put us off from revisiting the restaurant again. Very affordable and generous portions. The katsu wasn't the most authentic, but definitely still tasty in its own right. Relieved to see that they provided the typical sides (rice, miso soup, cabbage and bulldog sauce) for free. The green tea and sesame ice cream are the best we've had in this neighbourhood. It's usually very busy so it's best if you reserve in advance so that you don't end having to wait outside for a while. Would definitely recommend!"
