"Walked in and enquired about a foreign alcohol product and received a racist comment by the staff. Do not shop here, walk 50 meters down the road to BWS, inside Woolworth's. We do not accept racism in 2023 ;)"
"The rudest staff, the most expensive in the area and to call it a deli is a joke, there's hardly anything in there, it's a joke. Go to Potts Point Providors and BWS, next door to Woolies, massively more choices, much better value and lovely staff. This mob can't even say thank you, and its not just 1 or 2 of them, the best any of them can do is grunt. Also all rude men never seen a female staff member. No more for me, had enough, avoid!"
"I’ve just walked out of this place so shocked at how I was chastised for carrying a 500 gram puppy in my hand. I am a young woman and a man yelled in my face that I was not allowed in here with a dog and asked if I could see the sign outside. I was told to leave immediately. Totally understand if I came in with a huge pitbull, but we live in Potts Point and as I understand we are a dog friendly community. Will absolutely never return here and tell all my friends in our lovely dog park community about this incident. Disgusting behaviour."
"Terrible service. Real shame as the first time I went a younger guy helped out who was very knowledgeable about wine. Due to his advice and passion for wine I was happy to spend more than I had originally planned. The next two times I went there I bought the same expensive wines but was treated as if I was a ghost. The third time, after being ignored and treated rudely (they don't even acknowledge your presence at the counter - what do they want you to do, ring a bell?) I just replaced the overpriced olive oil and balsamic vinegar and whatever wine I had in my hands and hopped down to Elizabeth Bay Cellars or Bayswater Fine WInes where they don't make you feel like you are interrupting their day."
"We went in for the first time yesterday morning. There maybe 2 minutes when I looked at the guy behind the register to ask a price (many items are unpriced) and he shouts “Buy”... I was so surprised I froze, wondering if he said “Five”. Then he says even louder “Buy, don’t delay!” Does he expect people walk in and randomly take an unpriced premium bottle of wine? The store had no customers. We were not taking long. Hilariously rude. Don’t know if I’ve ever been spoke to like that as a customer. It’s pretty unusual that a day later his behavior still annoys me. The grumpy old guy really should be fired. Or if it’s his store, I hope he goes under due to his appalling customer service."
