"We were blown away by the food here. Lovely venue, speedy service and delicious authentic flavours. This will be our new local. $5 for a can of coke is a bit excessive but the roti was like a cloud. The rolled noodles in the pad see ew were phenomenal and couldn’t be faulted"

"Really enjoyed this Thai meal. We got the Pad Thai, tofu salad and Panang curry. They were all vegetarian and catered to our dietary requirements (no fish sauce). Not only that, they were friendly and very quick - meals came out within 10 minutes of ordering."

"I came here for a nice catch up dinner with friends and it ended up not being so nice. The food is nice, for sure. Good quality and quite delicious. But inside the restaurant, it's semi organised chaos. When we arrived, it was quiet. But they got busy fast, and while they managed take aways quite well, the downfall is the system of ordering your meal from your phone. Not only is this not always customisable, but if you have connectivity issues like I did, then the meal is ruined. My friends ordered theirs pretty much at the same time as each other, but due to my phone not connecting for some reason, mine was delayed by a few minutes, until I had to call a staff member over. By the time their order was placed, and then take outs and other tables created more demand, my entree/starter came out AFTER my friends finished their main. I think the best thing to do is either one person order for the entire table, or just call the staff out to place the order. It's a stupid system otherwise. Also, there was something in my rice I wanted the chef to leave out, but the guy working there not only didn't understand me, but I couldn't understand him. I think it goes a long way to have people on hand who can communicate efficiently and accurately. With all of that said ... Niyom Thai is a great local place for a casual meal. The food IS good, so I will come back again at some stage. But if you're going with others, all order at the same time with the staff or on a phone. Parking is handy and plentiful and the pricing is quite good. In spite of some issues, I do recommend giving them a try…"

"My partner and I went here for the opening of this restaurant and had a great night. The menu was fairly extensive and we ordered waaaaaaaay too much food but managed to eat every morsel of it. Put simply it was delicious to both the eye and the mouth. My partner has been back twice since then WITHOUT ME and enjoyed it even more on each visit. I'm considering divorce. The Chef is ex Chin Chin and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional, especially for a suburban restaurant. The take away was pumping and the place was full. I think this restaurant will be a huge success even without reviews. I suggest you book a table and do your taste buds a favour."
