"Last experience very +ve stuffed on seafood bugs prawns calamari mussels not this time around meat every where. Staff giggling when your eating, trolley of used hotplates nearby stuffed the night. Don't ask assume staff even went to light our hotplate. I asked why and got a stupid look. Had to explain we dont eat meat. Asked about prawns yes yes plenty of prawns. Zilch never again!"
"Food was good, service was mediocre and eating in a food court is never enjoyable, in saying that I would definitely go back again. My food was incredibly enjoyable and I had heaps of leftovers that I bought home, and my dad who isn't at all experimental with food enjoyed stuff on their menu too! The staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there and didn't say much but at least served us very quickly."
"Can’t go wrong at China bar. The food is amazing and special orders are brought out lightning fast"
"WORST CHINA BAR. I liked to have lunch here because this was the only Chinese restaurant I could find nearby. But yesterday I ordered beef brisket with rice and that was totally shame on Chinese cuisine. The rice tasted like ROCK. Beef was tender but COLD. Seemed like it needed 1 more min in the microwave (pretty sure it was not a fresh dish). If you want to eat Chinese food, go to the city/box hill/Preston. This is the worst in Melbourne."
"Had a weekday lunch here at one of the 2 food courts at Epping Plaza. Quick service during a moderately busy lunch. My freshly made chicken Laksa was ready in less than 5 minutes. Large bowl with a generous serve of both Hokkien and thinner vermicelli noodles. The broth was delicious, rich and creamy curry goodness with just the right amount of heat. I prefer my soup a little spicier and added some extra chilli oil supplied with the dish. Lots of Tofu, of different types, a few bean sprouts and a small amount of shredded chicken. The soup had no other vegetables, Bok Choy, broccoli etc which I expect and very little meat. No BBQ pork either. The serve was very generous, a full meal, but I think $13.80 is too much when so little protein was included. A little more meat and veggies, it would be close to perfect."
