"A great spot for a bit of fine-dining—have brought friends here and eaten solo on a weekend lunch. 7 dish tasting menu is really 4 courses: bread with a starter, then 2 more starters, then a main, then another main with side. View is lovely. Most dishes are invariably excellent, occasionally some portions are a little small, inside there's a stone floor and no acoustic damping so it can be quiet noisy, best to sit outside, they have blankets and heaters if it's cold."
"Food was so Amazing, great presentations, it reminds me of "The Menu" movie. Staff was so nice, will definitely be back and highly recommended. Oh. Coffee was perfect!"
"Really enjoyed the chef's menu here for a very reasonable price. They don't skimp on ingredients and everything is very fresh. Also had a bottle of their Chardonnay which was lovely with the menu. Service was really attentive even though they were full. Would definitely come back if in the area."
"We had a lovely lunch here the other day. Pros - gorgeous view, great staff, beautiful looking food, half the food was really tasty and impressive (the halloumi, omg), the resident dog was cute, we were outside but in shade which was excellent, the wine is awesome, especially the Pinot noir and the Pinot gris. Cons - some of the food was oddly tasteless and very cold. Not quite sure why. There was quite a bit of variation between dishes with regards to the levels of flavour. We also waited a very, very long time between the first dishes and the last two, not sure why as no explanation was given. Lastly if you’re sitting outside and it’s windy it is a little unpleasant as it’s quite exposed, but perhaps that’s just life in Victoria. Also just fyi if you’re booked for a meal outside and it rains they have no option but to cancel the sitting as they won’t be able to accommodate you inside. Just a good thing to know when booking so you can check the forecast."
"Beautiful food, beautiful view and great wine! Second visit and it didn't disappoint. We had two vegetarian guests and the chefs had no trouble adjusting the menu accordingly! Only downfall is they do not pick up the phone or respond to emails promptly, very hard to get in touch. Keep an eye out for the owner's dog, she steals the show! Final note..bring back the sparkling shiraz!!!"
