"This was my second visit at Moonlit sanctuary and it did not disappoint. Last night I went with a group of friends for the night tour. Callum was the best tour guide. His knowledge of the animals was quite impressive and answered all of our questions. The experience of getting up close with the animals to give them dinner is like no other. I will definitely be taking the family next time."
"We went on the night tour Tuesday night, we had a new guide that was very knowledgeable with the support of her experienced colleague. Our group was 3 couples. It was very important to follow instructions as the park is shared with wild animals that love to be included in the tour. It took approx 1.5hrs Our favourite was the Barking Owl and feeding the kangaroos, wallabies and sugar gliders - all very gentle. You could hear that they truely cared about the conserving a safe and friendly habitat for their animals. Really enjoyed it! Thank you"
"Great place and experience to see Australia animals closer to you. They have koalas, dingos, kangaroos, cockatoos, snakes, eagles etc. Plenty of options you can top up if you want so extra closer to the animal such as Koala petting for AUD 25 per person. Suitable for kids and family."
"Amazing! So many cool animals up close. Definitely buy the food for the kangaroos and wallabies. The keeper talks were very informative and there were lots of keepers walking around to answer questions or point out interesting things we missed. Warning; you will want to buy everything in the shop, so prep your wallet and remember you deserve a treat!"
"Brilliant day spent here. It was an awesome experience to get close to animals and feeding the kangaroos. The sanctuary had animals native to Australia and has regular keeper talks on all its wildlife. The koala encounter was brief, yet a truly worthwhile thing to do as not many places offer the chance to get so close to them. Highly recommend if you happen to be in Victoria. Friendly and knowledgable staff as well."
