"As a former dispense tech, ridiculous…. I came mid morning not much foot traffic, 5 staff members in dispensary not including pharmacists with only 3 customers in store took ages to get an over the counter medication. One particular senior staff member was downright rude and uppity because I asked for help. I’m not expecting 5 star customer service just do your work, there’s a standard procedure of questions and protocol for over counter medicines just don’t be rude and downright lazy. Sadly this isn’t the first time I’ve been here and treated as such but today was just enough. Premium added was too much, double other chemists, even rural pharmacies are cheaper! It’s your luck of the draw, maybe the few of the many customers get treated so well but I wouldn’t bet on it!"

"Santos Centre Pharmacy is the best pharmacy because the pharmacist goes above&beyond providing the best service for the patients!For the people who complains about the insanity of pricing,as consumers like myself& others when we shop we want the best price or the “cheapest” but at the end of the day “are we getting the same service&respect&professional advice from heathcare professional? For the person who mention about the “antibiotic” script&she felt that there’s no patience&understanding towards her?The fact that the staff went the extra mile to contact your doctor,I like to let you know it’s your responsibility to contact your doctor&get the script sent,they are Not paid to do that extra service for you ok?An the fact they went above&beyond to do that for you,you should appreciate that!As a clinical psychologist I understand where you’re coming from,but using the word. hostility,rudeness&interrogating towards pharmacists who are trying their best to help you is Not right ok?Also if your doctor&nurses takes the initiative of doing the right thing then you would not face this problem, offen we always find something or someone to blame for the causes of problem,but we never tried to analyse&find the root of the problem!that’s because we find it easier to “blame”as I have said I feel what you”re going through but it does Not give you the right to criticise “pharmacist” at Santos! For people who complain takes long to process script at Soul Pattinson chemist please come into the pharmacy a sign up to medadvisor app,staff there will get all your script ready before u pop into the store!it’s an excellent app for people who wants to save time! Also I like to say thanks to Kevin(owner)who always goes above&beyond to give the best service at Santos Centre Chemist!"

"I needed an urgent script filled for an antibiotic, as an incision was becoming infected. There was some confusion regarding it being an emailed copy of a script, sent because it was just before the weekend. This was handled with hostility and rudeness.They interrogated me about the prescription, showed no understanding of the situation (or how emails work!) and treated me as if I was lying. The main pharmacists serving me initially were between outright hostile and passive aggressive (two roughly middle aged women). This includes not just towards me, but when contacting the doctor's reception to verify my script, the receptionist also reported them being angry and having a go at her. Everybody acted like they knew more than the doctor and were continiously interrogating me on the script - why the antibiotic was being perscriped for so long, why so and so details weren't on it, why the doctor writes scripts the way he does - how should I know? But I had not had any trouble picking up the doctor's scripts from elsewhere before. I was treated as if I was lying and somehow scamming them - just for antibiotics?! Absolutely ridiculous. I understand perhaps my doctor may not have been strict in the way he issues his scripts compared to their standard, but this was not my responsibility, and I was the one treated terribly for it. A little patience would go a long way!"
