"Unfortunately I had to recently request a refund for my tax preparation. They made a number of mistakes on my taxes, including misunderstanding my K1s from the US, suggesting I will owe tax on over $240,000 when in fact I don't owe tax. They also indicated my fees would increase by $850 over and above the original contract even though my taxes had not changed between 2021 (which they based their price on) and 2022 (the current year they were filing). The good news is that they got back to me and said they would refund my money."
"Not sure how good they are at what they do, possibly great. But customer service definitely terrible. I called to use an acceptance agent (as they are listed as one in the IRS website) and was told they were not. Thats fine. I then called another 2 times (once the line was busy) because I thought maybe they could provide me the number of one, they responded with yes you have called three times now, no we cant help and hung up on me as I was talking. Not one to write reviews very often, but if they're being rude to people for no reason then I'll call them out for it."
