At Rockpool Bar & Grill, we take pride in building and nurturing relationships with primary producers and suppliers to ensure that only the best Australian produce enters our restaurants. Our beef selection is unrivaled, as we collaborate with the finest farmers in the country and source directly from them. To bring out the best qualities of our beef, we dry age it in-house and butcher on site to maintain control over its provenance.
When it comes to seafood, we work closely with fishermen and women and other seafood producers to know the exact day our fish was caught and the journey it took to reach us. By using simple techniques executed perfectly, we allow the natural flavors of our produce to shine.
One of our unique features is our wood-fire grill fueled by ironbark, which adds a distinct smoky flavor to our beef. This method emphasizes the individual characteristics of different cuts and breeds, ensuring a truly exceptional dining experience.
Behind the scenes, our culinary team is led by the talented Culinary Director Corey Costelloe, who has been with Rockpool Bar & Grill since its inception in Sydney in 2009. Under Corey's guidance, Junior Chef Santiago Aristizabal has risen to become the Executive Chef, overseeing all three restaurants. Together with Head Chefs Declan Carroll and Brendan Owens in Melbourne and Perth respectively, they uphold our commitment to provenance and celebrate Australia's finest produce.

"Wow! What an amazing restaurant. I was very sceptical on paying so much for steaks but honestly Rockpool exceeded my expectations. We ordered a whole bunch of entrees and sides alongside our steaks. The entrees were small but quite yummy, the Wagyu bolognaise was a particular favourite of mine. In terms of the steaks, they were amongst the best I've had in my life. The steaks had a really nice crust, the meat was very juicy and cooked perfectly and the seasoning was on point. The only two negative things I have to say was that they were very stingy on the bread with everyone only getting one piece and the bread was not warm. The other negative is the price, be prepared to pay absurd amounts of money for the entrees! This might not be a negative for you but I just had to mention it Overall 4.5/5!"

"Super Large restaurant, very popular, booking essential…. A little over priced for such a huge restaurant ! Can’t complain about the food though it was delicious with char grilled flavour ! To punch out the huge amount of food with flavour can be hard to do and they did that extremely well on the night. Do not choose the sparkling water … it tasted carbonated (served in a jug) and is charged at a cost of $10 a glass totally irritating! ( not required) Wine choices are huge help is required and was on hand , costly but enjoyable. 4 pax dinner $900 plus. King prawns Tortellini Coral trout Calamari Brisket Ribeye"
"Had an amazing experience at Rockpool Sunday. The food was outstanding, and steak was cooked to perfection. We ordered Tortellini with king prawns, whole grilled king prawns, filled and 36 month old ribeye. The Tortellini was full of flavor. I don't usually care for raisins, but these raisins were juicy. Service was awesome and very fast. Love the open kitchen, and the layout of the restaurant is beautiful."
