"Rude un helpful staff, rotten food on the shelves. Very disappointing harris farm usually has higher standards. Would not recommend spending your money here considering there exorbitant prices."
"I shop here weekly and I love the quality of the produce and the variety of brands they carry. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The only thing that I wish was different was that they stocked shampoo and conditioner, then it would be my one stop shop!"
"I like shopping here, the staff are lovely. It’s important to support local, I enjoy shopping for fruits and veggies in person instead of online. Prices need to be more competitive though, compared to the big supermarkets…otherwise there’s no point to continue shopping if the price difference exceeds the 10-15%. Also, would recommend extra cleaning around the fresh produce section."
"Disappointing visit. Just moved to the area from Stanmore and would def travel back to Leichhardt to shop. The strawberries were mouldy first thing at 9am on a Monday morning. 2nd aisle in a supervisor speaking to a staff member in a debate blocking the aisle with produce whilst telling the superior loudly that she needs to take responsibility herself, maybe take that off the floor away from customers. The staff seem unhappy, agitated and it’s only Monday morning. The packer whilst given 4 large bags squashed everything into 3, one barely able to lift, only to get to my car to discover all the cold items are in 1 bag with watermelon squashed into the top squashing all the gyozas, mushrooms etc. no care taken, couldn’t smile, seemed shocked when I said to have a nice day. Then wheeled round the exit to a manager who was clearly angry with the supervisor from the earlier debate, she was flustered, walked into top of me and noone could crack a smile. $220 spent, could service with a slight smile like you want customers in there! Def won’t be returning."
"Harris Farm is definitely my favourite supermarket. It's well worth a daily 6km walk to check the specials of the day and to indulge in a quality treat. What could be a better midnight pick-me-up with a coffee than some Callebaut Gianduja Chocolate. Amazing delicious creamy hazelnut. It's so disappointing to read negative reviews of such a valuable specialty supermarket. If we don't value and support services like Harris Farm we are condemned to the few supermarkets that care little for providing quality, specialty produce."
