"They are SO BAD. The property I lived in was so poorly managed. My main door used to fly open when there was too much wind and they said 'it was strata problem' AFTER I emailed and called several times. Then during this renting crisis, they gave us notice and said the owner would move in, but when we gave our 2 weeks notice, they asked about when they could have open inspections?! Then one time, they just came unannounced and rang our door to let them in without any notice. After all of this, they created different 'issues' and kept 80% of our bond saying random issues after they already charged $600 separately. And refused to reply after asking for receipt. And lodged the bond at our old apartment and never bothered to respond to us! Hope to never deal with them."
"Avoid dealing with Elite Rentals at all costs. They refused to reimburse us for emergency plumbing (after not answering the phone or responding to emails to organise a repair). When I went in to their office in person, to ask the process to get reimbursed, they started threatening me with rent raises and inspections and of owing them weeks of rent (which is a lie). Weeks of emails back and forth, they just continuously aovid the question, pretend they had wrong details, say they dont know what youre talking about, issue fake rental receipts to try and make you pay more rent. The list goes on. They shouldn't be allowed to operate a business. I have terminated my lease to find somewhere that will repair the plumbing when a water pipe bursts... Just opened a case with NCAT civil tribunal. Not sure how that will pan out."
"!! -100 STARS !!! THE WORST COMPANY / GROUP OF PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! THEY LIE, THEY DON’T REPLY AND THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE LEAKING PIPES IN THEIR APARTMENT FOR OVER 18MONTHS THEN LISTEN TO YOU TO GET THEM FIXED. HOWEVER, NSW HAS A RENTER’S TRIBUNAL AND WHEN YOU TAKE THEM TO COURT, AND WHEN THEY FINALLY SHOW UP FOR THE 2nd TIME, (AS THEY MISSED THE FIRST APPOINTMENT ON PURPOSE TO TRY AND LET THE PROBLEM DISSAPEAR), YOU WIN! If you would like to gain a metal illness due to stress levels rising and the uncertainly on what the next day may bring, with a mixture of lies and looking the other way until the problem hopefully goes away… then this is the company for you. I could write a review of complaints in such detail it would be published on “A current Affair “. The overview is this ; Lies, Impersonating a construction worker to unlawfully gain access to the property, Ignoring leaking pipe reports, which lead to mould, no notification to visits or works happening on the property, with my favourite, ignoring the law and the signed contract between us to reduce rent when area of the property was reduced for repairs for 2 months. After 6 months in Court, when they finally showed up to court, as the were not present on the first trial date, we won. Of course, we won, we wouldn’t have taken them to court if they were good lawful people."
"Worse than you can possibly imagine like I mean there is not one good thing about them. Basically I call them bond thieves, you rent the property from them with so much damage and then somehow they manage to blame it all on you. very unprofessional, because we were discussing the bond issue, she would not pick up my calls at allllll, and when I call from another phone number she answers. Super rude, inconsiderate, never ever replies to emails unless you call them several times. Don't care about you at all as a tenant. Like when I wanted to move, i asked them to just complete the tenant reference, somethings all the real estates I dealt with before did within days max, and they were my current ones and took ages, several calls and still wouldn't do them and many properties that I wanted to rent and really liked I couldn't complete my application because of this real estate. Basically if there is -10 rating or if I was a bit more bothered I would make a huge complaint about them. No matter how much you like a house, don't deal with them because they will take your bond and treat you so bad, service is worst the you could imagine."
"Run!don’t rent or lease property from this agent, the management is totally a joke in here. For tenants, if you really like the property and have to rent from them, here’s some hints. They only provide a very simple empty condition report when you move in. Careful! take your time, exam carefully, write as many existing problems as you could in there, even the very minor ones. After you move in, ask them to fix all the existing issues that you can find. Because eventually, they will use these existing issues to take your bond! Don’t think that it’s not a big problem, you can just live with it!! It takes weeks for them to reply your email, don’t forget about it yourself, chase hardly! Email them don’t call, keep all the evidences. For landlord. They only provide empty condition report when the tenant moves in, which means they have no ideas of how every property looks like. How many keys and swipe card they gives to the tenant. The tenant can write whatever things that they want, even the potential ones. I rented couple times before, all the other agents have very detailed condition report with lots of evidence photos when I move in. They way that they are doing will destroy your property, they may miss some major damages, and only find out until the next or next next tenant. Then they will try to make up their mistake from the innocent tenant, if they are not successful with this, you will pay for their mistakes. The worst agent that I ever deal with."
